Sir I am getting instrumentation engineering in Calcutta University through wbjee should I take it with a partial drop or completely focus and try next year.

Ans: Hello.
Instrumental Engineering is a challenging branch. It has a wide scope and has better job placement scenario as compared to other branches. As compared to other branches, very few students pass instrumental engineering in a year. It is advisable to go with it. But it seems that you are not so happy with this option as you asked about partial drop or full drop. It indicates that you are not satisfied with the branch. Instead of taking the drop, choose any pvt college with your preferred branch so save your one year. You did not mention your score also. If you are eying to CSE or AI+ML or any higher branch in top tire college, then you may think of taking the partial drop.

If you are dissatisfied with the reply, please ask again without hesitation.
If satisfied, please like and follow me.
Thanks.
