My son has been completed msc in statistics 2024 from pondicherry University with internship 6 month. Now what should be advise for him from you for abroad.
Ans: Hello,

To begin with, thank you for contacting us. I am glad to hear that your son has recently completed his MSc. in Statistics from Pondicherry University along with six-month internship experience and would like to let you know that he has a strong foundation for exploring prospect overseas. I would advise him to look into applying to PhD programs or specialized research posts in nations that are well-known for their strong focus on statistics and data science, viz., Canada, the USA, Germany, or the UK. Strong academic and research settings, as well as a wealth of funding possibilities are offered by these countries.
Moreover, I would suggest that your son examines employment opportunities in technology firms, international companies, and research organizations that prioritize statistical expertise. Not just that, motivating your son to earn certifications in programming languages and tools typically used in statistics and data science, viz., Python, R, and SQL, can augment his employability. Lastly, I would like to let you know that global opportunities can be unlocked by attending conferences, networking via professional organizations, and interacting with experts in his field via sites viz., LinkedIn.
