Career

Hi , I am Aratrika, currently living in Kolkata. I passed class 12th in this year.Right now,I have different options like-1) Btech in ECE from Heritage Engineering College , Kolkata 2)B.Sc in Physics from Jadavapur University 3)Bs-Ms course in IISER. Which should I opt for if I have an inclination towards subjects like astrophysics and also want to have a career in these fields in places like ISRO,ESA , NASA...etc....

Ans: Congrats Aratrika for having made to admission lists of many good Colleges. I would like you to explore BS-MS 5 year program at IISER and see if their curriculum aligns well with jobs at ISRO, NASA etc. Also explore if you can exit after your BS program. And take a decision yourself.

Sir I am getting electronics in a private college in 1st round of counseling in wbjee.... Plus I'm getting bsc physics hons in Calcutta University.... I really want to pursue a career in astrophysics or cosmology... Which one should i do? Btech from private college or bsc from government University?

Ans: I would address your question in 3 parts. 1. Please pick a course for a career out of astrophysics and cosmology. 2. Run a rigourous test in terms of what it takes to puruse that career, check if you are fascinated by the nomenclature, do you have the aptitude and are willing to put in the rigour and determination to slog it and not turn back midway. 3. Having done that look for the best courses BSc or BTech and institutions offering programs at the level you pick (BSc or BTech), and order them in your personal preference of location, government, non government. Good morning sir I am investing with an institution namely PIN FUND. they have their own app to invest . They offer to apply for an ipo at only 10 % of mkt value also at more dinsconted price . In starting my assistant told me that you have to apply as much as you can because you will be allocated only 10-20% of shares applied for . But each time they rise the percentage of allotment and forced me to add funds . Somehow I arrange funds till last allotment but this time they allot 90% of shares applied by me and asking to add funds of around 500000 but I can't arrange fund . Now they are forcing me add funds and telling that their will be legal proceedings against me and my available fund will not be available to withdraw. Kindly guide me asap.

Have you verified their credentials?

Do they have any approval from Sebi?

Report to the Police and SEBI/RBI.

Do not fall for such gimmicks.

I availed home loan of 27,00,000/- and the outstanding is 21,00,000/- as of now and the remaining EMI is 89 out of 120. How can repay the loan within six years. I am getting 56k in hand and I am a government employee?

Ans: Hello;

You may do a partial withdrawal(10-15 L) from your GPF corpus and use it to repay part of the loan.

As the outstanding loan will reduce so will the EMIs required to repay it.

What you want to ask is not clear. With a score of 98.7 under the OC category, getting a chance of CSE is less but chances of getting other branches are bright.
