I have 85.99 percentile in jee mains with obc rank 70395 i also scored 90 percent in boards .which college can i get

Ans: With an 85.99 percentile and an OBC rank of 70,395 in JEE Mains, you have a good chance of getting into some NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes). Specifically, you might be able to get into NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Patna, NIT Puducherry, or NIT Raipur, though possibly for less competitive branches or in later counseling rounds. My elder brother got a rank of 16557 in JEE advanced in general category, and 97.97 percentile in mains. He wants to get in an IIT irrespective of the branch . Will he be able to get any IIT ( he has not given AAT as he didn't want to pursue architecture).

Ans: Surely he will get some IIT. With a JEE Advanced rank of 16,557, a male candidate in the general category may find it challenging to get into the top IITs, but could potentially secure admission to newer IITs or some less popular branches in older IITs.

Hello sir, my son got 98.93 percentile in mht cet ews category. Is there any chance to get Ai and Ml in top notch college of mumbai or pune? We also have a seat booked in Vit Bhopal. Pls guide us

Ans: He may miss the top notch colleges, but there is no harm in trying. But I would recommend take the admission in VIT Bhopal and if he gets the top notch college through MHCET then leave VIT Bhopal and join, only you will lose some money, what VIT Bhopal will deduct.

Ans: Drop is not at all a good option, he will be depressed. Send him to KIIT. Once the course starts he will adjust.

Sir my son scored 93 percentile in jee mains from Rajasthan obc quota he is getting cse at IIIT manipur, CS at newton school of technology rishihood campus, and at other lower GFTI and state govt. colleges, my son is interest in newton but i think it is a risky College, Which should we prefer.

Ans: Send him to GFTI and state govt. colleges and be strict with him. Abhi seee control nahi kiya toh haat ka bahar jayega.

Sir Iam Getting Bharti Vidyapeeth Btech IT branch For 2.2 lakh per years fees... I don't have other option my MH CET rank is very low might get Mech/civil on that rank iam confused people suggesting me that Mechanical from some tier 3 college(having low fees) will also give placements if I work hard

Ans: I will never recommend Bharati Vidyapith. On the contrary I will suggest a TIER 3 College. 2.2 lakh per years fees is too much. Don't waste money. Take some remote Private College like LONI/KOPARGAON and reduce homesickness.

If I do diploma in CSE from CCET Chandigarh and after that I complete my BTech from there will it be a secure path for good placement and job??? How much difference is there between pursuing btech after giving jee examinations and doing btech after diploma???

Ans: NO. Always it is advisable to do B.Tech after 12th STD. Going to B.Tech via Diploma is a short cut and you are bound to be weak in Mathematics and Physics if you take the path of Diploma. I will never recommend Diploma.
