I am 30 and have completed my Masters in Business Economics after completing B.com( hons.).I have also completed PG diploma in Public Relations and Advertising. After working for a year in an Advertising Company I quit and started preparing for Civil Services for the last 2 years with 2 unsuccessful attempts. Now I at the same time want to pursue some other carreer due to a big uncertainty in qualifying for civil services.I am not averse to pursuing further studies from India or Abroad so as to get a decent job. Kindly Advice.

Ans: Hello. Thank you for connecting with us. Given your extensive educational background and diverse experiences, you have several promising career pathways to consider. Your degrees in business economics, public relations, and advertising, combined with your experience in the advertising industry, in addition to your preparation for civil services, have equipped you with a strong skill set.
Your background in business economics and advertising makes you a strong candidate for roles in corporate sectors, especially in marketing, corporate communications, and consulting. You can choose to pursue an MBA or M.Sc. in marketing or international business. As you also took a course in public relations and advertising, a career in PR, corporate communication, or media management would be a perfect fit for you. If you want to go ahead with public relations, you can pursue a master’s in public relations or communication. It is advised to do a thorough self-assessment of both the programs.Pursuing further studies in India or abroad significantly enhances your qualifications and opens doors to new career opportunities. Make sure to align with your interests and long-term career objectives.
