Sir, I have passed 12th class this year with 67% overall and 64%0 in PCM. My JEE score is very low but surely not negative. I want to join B Tech In Computer Science course. But it is impossible. Now I have applied for B Sc in computer Science and Data Analysis which is 3 years course from IIT Patna in hybrid mode, mostly online course. Will that be suitable for me in compare of same course as a regular student from any college of Delhi University or any other central University on the basis of CUET exam. Kindly guide about prospectus of BSC from IIT Patna particularly.
Ans: IIT Patna (Hybrid Mode)
Pros:
1. IIT Brand Name
2. Quality Education
3. IITs typically offer up-to-date curricula that reflect advancements in the field of computer science, ensuring you receive relevant and industry-aligned education.
4. You'll have the chance to connect with peers, faculty, and alumni of IIT Patna, potentially opening doors to valuable networking opportunities.
Cons:
1. Online or hybrid learning may limit direct interaction with professors and classmates compared to traditional classroom settings.
2. Requires strong self-discipline and motivation to stay on track with coursework and assignments without regular in-person classes.

BSc (Through CUET Exam)
Pros:
1. In-person learning allows for more direct interaction with professors and classmates, facilitating deeper understanding and collaboration
2. Access to campus facilities, resources, and extracurricular activities
3. Better social skills, networking
Cons:
1. Admission to prestigious colleges like Delhi University can be highly competitive
2. Lack the brand name of an IIT degree.

Hii .I'm a PSU bank manager. I have experience of 12 years. I m frustrated by the torture in banking these days. I m d only bread winner in family. I m slowly degrading my mental as well as physical health. Please advise me for some career switch option
Ans: I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing in your current role. It's crucial to prioritize your mental and physical well-being, and considering a career switch can be a step toward a healthier and more fulfilling professional life.

Reflect on your skills, interests, and what aspects of your current job you enjoy or excel at. Consider taking a career assessment test to identify potential career paths aligned with your strengths and interests.

Use your banking experience to become a financial advisor or wealth manager. This role allows you to work closely with clients to manage their finances, investments, and retirement planning. You can transition to a corporate finance role within a company, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and management. You may decide to leverage your banking experience to move into risk management or compliance roles, focusing on ensuring organizations adhere to regulations and manage risks effectively.

If you enjoy mentoring and educating others, consider teaching finance, banking, or business management at educational institutions.

If you have a business idea or passion project, consider starting your own business. This allows for more control over your work environment and schedule.

You can use your extensive experience to become a consultant in banking, finance, or business operations. Consultants often have more flexible work arrangements and can work on diverse projects.

Switching careers can be daunting but also rewarding if it leads to a healthier and more satisfying professional life. However, with your experience, it should be a fairly simple thing for you to do.

Prioritize your health, do thorough research, and make a strategic plan to achieve a successful career transition.

Ans: 1. Reach out to your academic institution to understand the requirements for completing your final semester. Ask about the possibility of remote learning, evening classes, or any other flexible options that accommodate your current employment.

2. If attending physical classes is not feasible, explore options for completing your degree through online or distance education programs. Many universities offer online BCom courses that can be completed at your own pace.

3. Discuss your educational goals with your superiors in the CISF. They may offer support, such as adjusting your work schedule or providing study leave, especially if your education aligns with your professional development within the force.

4. Consider enrolling in short-term professional courses or certifications relevant to your career interests. Courses in accounting, finance, management, or IT can enhance your skill set and employability.

Hello madam I am currently studying bcom 2nd year I wanted to prepare for govt exams and also want to pursue my MBA masters I am not getting what should I do and I am also worried about my relationship will it will be a happy ending or not
Ans: I am sure you feel overwhelmed given the multiple priorities and uncertainties in your life right now

1. Research the specific government exams you want to prepare for (e.g., UPSC, SSC, banking exams, CAT, GMAT, MAT, etc.). Create a detailed study plan. Allocate specific times of the day or week for studying different subjects. Gather study materials such as books, online courses, and past question papers. Enroll in a coaching class if needed. Regularly take mock tests to assess your preparation and improve your time management skills.

2. Create a balanced schedule that allows you to prepare for both government exams and MBA entrance exams. Focus on time management and prioritize your tasks. Try to spend quality time with your partner. Even small gestures and regular check-ins can maintain the bond.

3. Have an open and honest conversation with your partner about your current stressors and goals. Ensure that both of you are on the same page regarding your future plans. Discuss how you can support each other during this challenging period. Mutual support can strengthen your relationship.

4. Be flexible and willing to adapt to changes. Life plans can evolve, and it’s important to be supportive of each other’s growth and development.

5. Find mentors or counselors who can provide guidance on your career path and personal life.

I am 35 year old and holding 5+ years of experience in various domains after completing Deploma in Mech Engg QA-1year(automobile industry 2011-12). 2012-2018-- Degree in Mechanical Engg. Meanwhile due to financial issues I had work with 2/3 companies for short time of period and left because of Exams, whatever work like service engineer and Quality related work I attended. After completing my Graduation in Mechanical Engg I rejoin small firm which was dealer and distribution industry for metal cutting tools. due to convid these company was shutdown and then 2021 I switched to BPO industry and now from April 2023 to till date I am working in Supply chain Management in Infosys as a Sr Executive now could you please advise what should I do because it's really challenging to adapt new skills with less salary I am unable to take risk of new learning. And also facing money problems as now I have to run entire family shall I have to start any business or what should I do to save and retrack my career?
Ans: Why don't you want to continue in SCM?

In my opinion, you should continue to develop your expertise in supply chain management. Given your current role at Infosys, aim to gain more responsibilities and prove your value within the organization. You may also consider obtaining supply chain management certifications like APICS (now ASCM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Six Sigma. These can increase your marketability and potential for promotions or salary increases.

Stay updated with industry trends and continue learning to adapt to changing market demands.

My daughter's been selected for IIM Lucknow Executive 1 yr MBA n Georgia Institute Schellers Business For 2 Yr MBA with 100% Scholarship... which is a better option... Job Placement Security n Returns as per Salary n Career prospects
Ans: IIM Lucknow Executive MBA is a 1-year program, designed for mid-career professionals with significant work experience. While Executive MBA programs may not focus extensively on job placement, the IIM brand and alumni network could open doors to lucrative job opportunities in India and globally. Also, since it's a shorter program, the ROI might be higher compared to a traditional 2-year MBA, especially if you're looking for immediate career advancement.

Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business 2-year MBA with 100% Scholarship is a traditional 2-year MBA program, offering a comprehensive curriculum with summer internships and networking opportunities. It will offer robust career services and strong corporate connections, potentially leading to lucrative job offers with top companies, especially in the US market.

However, a primary area of consideration would be a decision on where you ultimately want to work and build your career. If you aspire to work in India or prefer to stay close to home, the IIM program might be more suitable. Conversely, if you're open to opportunities abroad, especially in the US market, the Georgia Tech MBA could be advantageous.

You can also consider reaching out to alumni, current students, and career advisors from both institutions to gather more insights and make an informed decision.

I am a 39 yrs old person. I have done my MBA marketing and i am hotel management graduate. I have worked for around 9 yrs in Hospital sales and 3 yrs in hotel Sales and Marketing department. Lastly i was working with a leading hospital in Pune as a deputy manager Sales. I jad to take a break of one and half year in between because of my mother was a liver patient and needed a liver transplant. Now Liver Transplant is done and it is around 7 months, she is all doing fine and good. Now on a professional front i am left jobless because of the break i had to take. I want to start my carrier again. Can you suggest how exactly should i go about. Can u recommend any other carrier other than Hospital sales with my experience and qualification that i can go into. I have liking for sales and marketing. Request you ro suggest something which is related to marketing. I will also want to mention that i am still single in life. I really want you to help me and suggest a good carrier option and also guide in regards with life ahead.
Ans: See it's understandable that taking a break from your career was necessary during that time, and now that your mother is doing well, it's time to focus on your professional growth and development.

Given your experience and qualifications in both hotel management and marketing, along with your extensive background in sales and marketing roles in both hospitals and hotels, I would suggest
1. Many companies across various sectors require professionals with strong sales and marketing skills to promote their products or services. Your experience in B2B sales could be particularly valuable in industries such as pharmaceuticals, technology, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
2. Your experience in hotel sales and marketing could be beneficial in Event management as it requires strong networking, negotiation, and marketing skills.
3. Consider working as a sales or marketing consultant, either independently or with a consulting firm. Consultants provide advice and solutions to businesses to improve their sales and marketing strategies, optimize processes, and achieve their business objectives.
4. With your extensive experience in sales and marketing, you could consider transitioning into a role in education and training. You could become a sales or marketing trainer, teaching others about effective sales techniques, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management.

Additionally, you should also:
A. Update your resume and LinkedIn profile to highlight your skills, experiences, and achievements.
B. Consider taking online courses or certifications to enhance your skills or learn new ones relevant to your career goals.
C. Be open to temporary or part-time roles as you transition back into the workforce.

I have failed in every competitive exam I appeared. I am 29 and I don't have a permanent job yet. My goal was very clear, to get a government job and work in India and make my parents proud. But I am not sure where I am going wrong. I have taken so many career gaps to appear for these exams. Should I just give up or keep trying till I crack it?
Ans: It's understandable to feel frustrated and discouraged, especially when you've invested time and effort into pursuing a specific career goal. However, giving up should not be your only option. Here are some suggestions to consider:

1. Take some time to reflect on your exam preparation strategies, study habits, and performance in previous exams. Identify areas where you may need improvement and consider seeking feedback from mentors, tutors, or peers who have successfully cleared similar exams.

2. While the primary goal may have been to secure a government job, it's essential to remain open to alternative career paths and opportunities. Explore other industries, sectors, or job roles where your skills and experiences could be valuable.

3. Perseverance is key when faced with setbacks and challenges. It's natural to encounter obstacles along the way, but it's essential to stay determined and continue working towards your goals.

4. Consider seeking assistance from professional tutors, coaching centers, or exam preparation courses that specialize in the exams you're targeting.

5. Start thinking how you can effectively address the gaps in your resume and interviews. Highlight any relevant skills, experiences, or achievements gained during these periods, and emphasize your commitment to achieving your career goals.

6. It's essential to prioritize your mental health and well-being during challenging times. Practice self-care, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and seek professional support if you're feeling overwhelmed or experiencing mental health concerns.

Hey, I'm a 29-year-old female currently working in a single-family office as the Head of HR & Admin. Previously, I was in a multi-family office (it's the same organization; I switched from multi to single family, but I am also managing tasks at the multi-family office as well), where I worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO. I graduated with a BBA in finance after five long years following my 2nd PUC, scoring some amazing marks. I joined this XYZ organization after completing my degree. Before that, I was working as a process trainer in an outsourcing company. Also, I recently got married, just a month back. Considering family planning alongside career planning has been quite diplomatic for me. My question right now is: I am keen on pursuing an MBA or any courses to enhance my career, but I'm really unsure of what options to explore. I am a curious learner and love to keep upskilling myself, but I'm uncertain about the best path forward. Should I pursue an MBA in Finance or HR, or should I opt for some short-term courses for upskilling? Additionally, please clarify which is better: an EAA job or HR? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Ans: You seem to have a very busy mind

Are you sure you want to start anything new - career wise - considering your recent marriage. You might want to give it, at least, similar level of attention as your career. But thats your call

EAA is a better job than HR in my opinion because of the cross departmental interaction you would be going through, not to mention the learning that you might have had during your interactions with C level

With all this; If you were to genuinely ask me - I would suggest the following
1) Go for a distance MBA with focus on General Mgmt
2) Invest time in marriage
3) Continue with EAA profile and try to take more Project Mgmt roles to get better exposure
