Hi Sir, my son have scored 98.32 percentile in JEE main and may get chance for cse at iiit Kanchipuram or mechanical at NIT calicut in obc category, also he has cleared VITEEE and got ECE (category 1) at vit chennai.. kindly advice...

Ans: Krishnamoorthy Sir, Your son, with a 98.32 percentile in JEE Main (OBC category) and ECE at VIT Chennai (Category 1), has excellent options. He is likely eligible for CSE at IIITDM Kancheepuram and Mechanical at NIT Calicut. IIITDM Kancheepuram is strong for CSE, while NIT Calicut is renowned for Mechanical. VIT Chennai offers a good private option for ECE with better fees. Prioritize based on his interest: IIITDM Kancheepuram for CSE focus, NIT Calicut for a core engineering experience, or VIT Chennai for a well-rounded private university education in ECE. Choose wisely based on his passion and career goals. My Suggestion: Prefer Government Institute IIITDM followed by NIT-C over VIT. Have VIT as your last option. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!
