Hi sir, my son got 5775 rank in JEE advanced. He may get BTEC CS in 3 tier IITs,2tier nits tier one IIIT s which one is best for campus placement and job opportunities

Ans: With a JEE Advanced rank of 5,775, securing CSE at tier-1 IIITs like IIIT Hyderabad (99.27% placements in 2024, Google/Microsoft recruiters) or IIIT Delhi (95.59% CSE placements) is preferable for specialized tech roles and robust industry networks, despite the IIT brand. Tier-3 IITs (e.g., IIT Indore CSE: 95.31% placements, Amazon/Flipkart) offer institutional prestige but may lag in CSE-focused recruiters compared to IIITs. Tier-2 NITs like NIT Jalandhar (93.28% CSE placements) or NIT Trichy (95.47% CSE placements) balance core engineering and tech opportunities but lack the niche focus of IIITs. Prioritize IIIT Hyderabad/Delhi for assured tech roles, tier-3 IITs for global academic recognition, or NITs for a blend of branch flexibility and regional industry ties, aligning with career goals and institutional strengths. All the BEST for your Son's Admission & a Prosperous Future!
