Good evening sir my name Abhishek I pass my class 12th in 2025 and code 69% then I give improvement in July 2025 in which I score 73% now I am thinking to give February 2026 exam as a private candidate in three subjects to match my 75% criteria am I eligible for josa counselling and can I use my 2025 main board exam marksheet and 2026 exam marksheet

Yes, you’ll be eligible for JoSAA counselling in 2026 if your final marks (after Feb 2026 private exams) meet the 75% eligibility criteria or if you’re in the top 20 percentile of your board. You can use a combination of 2025 and 2026 marksheets to prove eligibility, as long as they are from the "Same Board" and meet the academic requirements. However, it is highly recommended to download the JoSAA brochure from the official website to learn more about the eligibility criteria. That will be a better approach than relying solely on others' advice. Be cautious and verify the details yourself.

I have passed my class 10 in 2023 and class 12th with PCB in 2025 , then i change my stream to PCM and giving boards this year( and i am confident that i will get 75% easily) and got 98.55 percentile in jee.. So my question is if i am eligible for jossa counselling or not? If yes , what i will say when then ask for reason of 3 year gap between class 10 and 12(pcm) ,? Note- i didnt study class 11 maths , i directly give boards as a regular school going student .

you are allowed for JOSAA, when they ask tell them the actual reason. No harm in it.

Best colleges for medicine Having 25 days for exam how to extract the best for re-neet?

Ans: Very vague question. Better to focus again on the Re-NEET Exam and try to score as much as possible. A top score will automatically open the doors of top medical colleges.

My daughter has 70064 rankon jee mains in general category,does she get iiit with this rank in cse?

Ans: No, CSE is not possible. She can hope for lower branches at IIITs such as Bhagalpur, Kalyani, Kottayam, or similar lower-ranked IIITs through CSAB if seats remain vacant. It is better to explore other options as a backup.

Hello Sir, Our son is eligible for BTECH in IIT Madras AI and data analytics, IIT kanpur cse and electricals in all IITs based on last year jee advanced josaa. Which is the best option for future growth. He is interested to opt from any of these.

Ans: Preference order: AI + DS @ IIT Madras > CSE @ IIT Kanpur > Electrical @ IIT Kanpur. Yet, the basic interest of the candidate plays a more significant role in choosing the branch and institute. The final decision will be yours and your son's.

Sir, What shall be chosen B Tech CSE with DS at SRM KTR or Btech IT at JIIT Noida

Ans: Both are good options. SRM is more crowded and costly than JIIT. Choose SRM for maximum placement potential and JIIT for value and location preference. As an aside, prefer CSE+DS @ SRM KTR if possible.

I got 2300 OBC RANK IN JEE B ARCH.BUT MY 12 PERCENTAGE IS 73.5.CAN I APPLY FOR JOSAA OR WAIT FOR MY IMPROVME NT RESULT THEN APPLY FOR CSAP. One more answer whether the result of improvement come before CSAP counselling ,

Ans: You can apply for JoSAA now, but for CSAB, you should wait for improvement results if they can raise your 75% eligibility, because CSAB eligibility requires meeting criteria. Improvement results usually come before CSAB rounds, but timing is not guaranteed, so plan cautiously. It is better to explore other options from a safer point of view.

Sir, my son is getting CSE with data science at vit vellore, civil at thapar , CSE software engineering at SRM KTR, and might also get btech I.T. at Jaypee Noida, what should we prefer. We are from Delhi.

Ans: The preference order may be: VIT Vellore > Jaypee > SRM > Thapar. Recommending to go with IT @ Jaypee (best location advantage for Delhi + decent coding placements)
