My son has 13000 rank in AEEE will he get cse in nagarcoil with scholarship

Ans: With an AEEE rank of 13,000, there's a good chance your son could get into the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) program at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amritapuri) campus if he's a home state candidate. However, for other Amrita campuses or for CSE, a rank below 8,000 is generally required, even with home state quota. Scholarships are also possible, and it's recommended to explore the specific scholarship opportunities offered by Amrita University.

My son has got 13859 in AEEE. Will he get CSE/CSE(cyber security)/AI&DS in Coimbatore campus?
Ans: Palanisamy Sir, With an AEEE 2025 rank of 13,859, your son is very unlikely to secure admission to CSE, CSE (Cyber Security), or AI & DS at the Amrita Coimbatore campus, as recent cutoffs for these branches have consistently closed well within the top 5,000–8,000 ranks.. Even with this year’s slightly tougher exam and potentially lower cutoffs, the gap is too large for a realistic chance at these specializations in Coimbatore. However, he stands a much better chance of getting CSE or its specializations at other Amrita campuses, such as Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Amaravati, where closing ranks for these branches are typically higher and may extend up to 13,000–15,000. At Coimbatore, he may still get branches like EEE, ECE, Mechanical, or Civil. Recommendation: Participate actively in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP), list all preferred branches and campuses, and consider CSE/AI & DS at other Amrita campuses for the best chances in his chosen field. If Coimbatore is a strict preference, be open to allied branches. I suggest you to have back-ups of other Private Colleges also such as Sathyabhama, Sastra or Karunya, the applications of which are still open, according to their advertisements in Times of India last week. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!
