Hi anu I am 23 years old and recently found out relation of my mother with my friend...my mom was going to the gym where my friend also got registered..it was a month later I got to know they are in same gym..now they go to gym together. Their text msgs are flirtatious and sensual....what to do. My father is old boring person who only likes to watch news and drink tea..what should I do

Ans: Dear Neeraj,
Your mother is a grown woman and is free to make her choices. A bit of attention at her age is what she might be looking for but your friend might be in it for more.
But I can see how this affects you obviously.

Maybe you can talk some sense into your friend. He needs to know his boundaries and that you are not comfortable with it at all. Spend time with your mother telling her how much you appreciate her and love her. Maybe she needs a bit of ME TIME where she finds her social circle and hobbies/work (she might want to revive her career).

As for your father, maybe he can figure out a way to make tea for himself and your mom, so that they share a cuppa and laugh a lot together. At their age, marriage can be boring and the only way to revive is to work on it by infusing some fun and travel together. As their child, you can help bring them together.
So, start with a Chai party at home:) Get the drift?

All the best!

Thank you mam. I conveyed to both of them that I feel uncomfortable but they still saying that I understood wrongly and there is nothing between them.but my husband shares everything with her but not with me. Me and my husband had a difference of ten years may this might be a reason and I m a house wife after completing twelth I got married and then i didn't study. He is a good caring husband and good father for my two childrens and nice person. But I feel uncomfortable only with this problem what to do may be I am thinking wrong.
Ans: Dear Suganya,
Never let anyone make you feel low or less...So, if you are a homemaker, that's your choice and if that is the reason that your husband seeks the company of another woman, then he honestly does not deserve your attention and love. He will realize it over time...
What you can do in the meanwhile is to develop your identity, your personality that is different from your husband. have a friends circle where you not only have fun but also do something together which is besides what family responsibilities demand. Since your husband is caring towards you and your children, that is a huge plus point...request him one day or half day over the weekend, to take care of the children, where you can go along with these friends to trek or on a picnic or doing some voluntary work or just about anything...you will have something to look forward to and this will also give your husband a signal that you don't look to him for your happiness. This will surely make him wonder what he is doing with the other person and that realization will also have a positive effect on the marriage.

My mother (42 years old) came in relationship with a neighbour guy suddenly before few months. This neighbour guy is just 5 years elder than me & 20 years younger than my mother, but whenever this neighbour guy touch my mother, she feels too uncomfortable. My father knows about it, but he is not saying anything to my mother to stop all these nonsense. Why don't my mother break-up with him if she feels uncomfortable ?? What was the need of being in relationship with a person who is 20 years younger than her ?? Why is my father allowing this ?? Is there any problem ?? My father loves my mother a lot & she knows about it, then what's wrong here ?? My mother asked me to not to interfere in this when I asked these questions to her.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
It must be difficult for you swallow this fact that your parents' marriage is not picture perfect. Most things in life are not the way they seem to be. You are young and slowly this truth will sink in...
Until then, it's better to stay away from your parents' marriage. They are adults and know what must be done. If they have some sort of understanding between them, that's solely their business.
Yes, this bothers you...then request them to just hear you out; they may not explain anything to you...but at least you will feel heard out! You can share your insecurities with them...
Talk to a school counselor or someone who you can trust; that way you are not holding things within...Life ain't simple; but we can simplify it to a certain extent.

All the best!

Career
My child will be appearing for NEET UG 2025 for the fourth time. Each time his performance has been abysmal, which, I know, is going to be repeated this year too. We have already asked him to move ahead but he is adamant on appearing in NEET which is beyond his calibre. He doesn't have any idea what to do next, has never thought of a Plan B,C or D. Kindly guide as to how plan a career ahead for him. Is there any sort of psychoanalysis to know what is the right study option for him and where to get it done. I can't afford crores of rupees in pvt. medical colleges/abroad .I can take professional assisstance . Kindly give me contact number/ email ID. Thanks.
Ans: Hi Sir,

Don't worry. First, it's important to counsel him.

The health sector is a promising field, which is why I believe your son is so determined to appear for the NEET exam, even though this will be his fourth attempt. It’s natural for him to feel a bit worried. I think he needs to reflect on why he hasn't been able to succeed so far. It's crucial for him to analyze where the problems lie. For example, if he's struggling with chemistry, he should focus more on that subject, as well as the others he finds challenging.

He has a lot of homework to do, including taking mock tests and learning effective strategies rather than just simple ideas.

I have one question: Has he enrolled in any study or coaching center for NEET preparation? If so, it would be beneficial to discuss ways to improve his performance.
If he has prepared himself, kindly approach the best coaching center near your area. For more information about us, you can contact the admin.
