Filing ITR: Download JSON file for practice?

Sir, The income for AY24-25 is only LTCG from equity MFs and interest from FDs of two NBFCs. As such, ITR filing can be done on 1st April 24 itself but one of the NBFCs is yet to populate AIS with interest paid data which action may extend to June 24. As the interest paid data is available in Bank Ac, can I file the ITR now itself as I am in a hurry? There will be mismatch with AIS right now but by the month of June, it will be normal when they post the figures.

Kindly reply for my two queries as follows: Query 1. With LTCG income and adjustment for previous years' losses etc, the final tax amount will be known only after entry of all related figures in Schedules CG, CFL etc. Is downloading a json file and filling the form for practice to know the exact tax amount due and later file the actual ITR online permitted? Or only one time downloading/online filing is allowed? Query 2. Provision to make corrections in AIS is provided but could not find provision to make additions (of missing data), Such a provision was not seen up to last year's filing season. Not only missing data can be important but also it creates a mismatch of AIS and actual figures. In such circumstances what can the individual do, pl. suggest. Thank you, sir Chandran KM

Sir, NRI daughter had LTCG income in FY23-24 and IT returns was filed in ITR-2 as per rules. In FY24-25 there is no taxable income and there is no LTCG also. In such a case, filing may not be required but she would like to file just to keep the records straight. My query is which ITR form is to be used in this case? In case if ITR-2 is not required, is there anything wrong in using ITR-2 itself?

Sir, My NRI daughter has to file ITR in Form.2 for FY24-25. All relevant data is visible in AIS. As there is some hurry, can she go ahead and file the ITR or does she need to wait for anything else? There was news that forms1&5 were ready which indirectly meant that other forms were not yet ready. Hence this query, sir.
