My CTC at TCS Mumbai is 15 LPA with 8 years of experience. I have an offer from Accenture Pune for 21 LPA. Is this a good move? Or should I consider relocation costs and ask for a better package?

My total experience is 22+ years in the field of electrical & industry automation. Presently I'm working in a reputed MNC EPC with CTC 26.95 LPA. But my career growth got stagnant with very less increment and delayed promotion, after serving for 18+years I decided to move on. I bagged a job in the competitor company of same stature with CTC 35LPA. I'm serving notice period of 3 months. Now my present company is consistently asking me to take back my resignation, & offering me position to lead service sales department. Should I take back the resignation & stay back with the offer or move on? Is CTC of 35 LPA at par with the industry standard? Please advise.

See your have got significant jump in your salary which means someone out there is valuing your experience and expertise. You have been working in your present organisation for 18 years, which means your present organisation should have known your worth.

If the organisation from where you have got offer is good reputed company and if your role is also good then I would suggest move on to new organisation. You will get opportunity to learn and grow.

I’m getting an offer from HDFC life insurance to work as AI-ML engineer/Data scientist with a similar package of 14 LPA. Job location is in Bangalore. Should i consider the offer and relocate? i have family of 3 members.

Hello Sir! I have total versatile experience of 21 years in Back Office Operations (5 years), Procurement Manager (5 years), Program Manager of Content Development Team (4 years), Marketing – Onboarding companies for placing our students for a 3-year internship (Earn and Learn) (2 years) PA to JMD along with Recruitment Officer (at present) in one company only, working from 2003. However, when I received the role of Recruitment (from April 2021), I found it interesting and quite challenging and to discover new networks and studying the vast topic of HR. After 2 years of recruitment (self-learned the process), I enrolled in two certification programs viz. HR Analytics (from CHRMP) and HR Generalist (Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Strategic Human Resource Management) – (from Protouch with SHRM and HRCI Certification). I am trying internally for a shift in my present company however, I can’t proceed here. Simultaneously, I am looking for Talent Acquisition or Recruiter positions outside my office and applying the same but could not succeed. I feel and think, that companies might be thinking why she is shifting now and secondly, my overall experience is good, but core TA experience is 4+ years. Present CTC is Rs.14 Lakhs and I am looking for a CTC of Rs. 19 Lakhs. I request you to please guide me how I should proceed further – should I stay in my company or look outside. Hi Sir, My Son is studying in 11th std with PCMCs and preparing both for NATA and CET. He was an average student in tenth scoring 55%, we are hoping for better performance in his 12th board. Currently we are staying in Bangalore. We need your suggestion in choosing between BArch or BE (Civil/Mech/Electrical). Which one will be better for him in difficulty level, fee structure, future job prospects and if he wants to Masters, whether he can continue in India or abroad. If abroad which countries or university are good for him for masters. Thank you

Ans: In B.Arch difficulty level is less but he must be good in drawing. A candidate who is bad in drawing can't be an Architect, even if he becomes he will fail in professional life. BE (Civil/Mech/Electrical) needs good knowledge of Maths and Physics. From his 10th score it seems to be he is an below average student. Fee structure is mostly same in both. For Masters we can think afterwards, no question of long term planning. In abroad always USA is the best for Engineering. Best of luck. Regards. Hi , I am planning to pursue a master's degree from Australia in 2025 Feb intake and got my education loan sanctioned from a bank too, but the university requires some interview process for confirming my admission and the interview is done now and it's been more than 1 month I didn't got any reply from the University of whether my admission is confirmed or not , because of the new law of student capping in Australia they are putting it on hold and now I have a offer letter from other university too but the thing is my sanction letter is already used for my first uni and I want to ask is there any way that I can use the same sanction letter for other university too or any other alternative for this that what should I do in this situation

I understand your concern but how will you know whether height is an issue for her until you go ahead and speak to her? If you are worried about confessing your feelings for her directly, it's best you take things slow. Anyways, people are more likely to take such confessions on a positive note if they know the person.

You can start with a Hi, followed by letting her know that you have seen her around quite a few times. You can ask her what she does, and other general questions. Don't do it all in a single day; try building rapport slowly. This way you won't be putting too much pressure on yourself or on her.
