Hello doctor, my father had a mini heart attack in September. He was experiencing asthma and jhanjhanahat (I don't know what else can I call it) in shoulders and hands . His hands would get tight all of a sudden and it would pain a lot. Also, he is very physically active. He used to go to a pulmonologist for asthma but he overlooked all of these and suggested to put volini spray on it. So when he got the heartattack his left body got paralysed for a while and after that he was fine. The doctor said that there was blockage in artery so he got a surgery done where the stunt was placed near waist. We maintained a good diet after that but when he got back to his house my brother's wife would not care much about the diet and fed him oils and refined oil as much as she could. Now it has been 7 month now he has been experiencing tightness in hands and legs again. Please suggest doctor. I fear that he might get heart attack once again. And sir please suggest on one more thing that he used to be a very strict and sophisticated person. But now he has completed changed. Now he is not as strict as before but some weird behaviour is something that I have been noticing over few months. He is highly forgetfully. Like he will ask you for something and then forget about it just after few minutes and then scold you for it. He keeps repeating what he says during a conversation. Sometimes he reacts violently without understanding the situation well which was not the case before. I fear he might have some psychological problems as my mother in law as severe dementia that she cannot even eat or walk. I fear the same.
Ans: May be you father is having vascular dementia
Please consult a Neurologist

I am 77 years old. I was taking medicine for high BP from the age of 50 years.I was very active doing yoga regularly in the morning and doing walk in the evening. I do not smoke and do not drink as well. I am a person with height weight normal as per the standard chart. I was very active doing my job and never use to get tired. I worked for six years in Central Govt, thirty years in PSU and seventeen years in Private Organisations. I used to believe that " a Person should never retire from work". I stopped going to work from March 2020 after the Covid 19 spread in India. During a routine check up, my doctor mentioned on my prescription as "Stable Angina". I asked about it but he replied, it is nothing, do not worry. I was not having any pain etc. But this remark of Stable Angina. was written on my prescription on every visit. In June 2022, I got a CT Angiography done just to know the deposits in my arteries. It was found to be more in all the five arteries. But I had no symptoms of any pain or breathlessness while moving or working. In August 2022, I got some problem in my left eye, went to eye specialist, he observed a little deposit in eye nerve. He tried to break it but could not. I went for Angiography. All the arteries were found with deposits but still I had no pain etc. I was operated for Heart By pass Surgery on 22.9.22 and released from Hospital on 1.10.22. I was put on High Protein Diet. During Jan 23 to July 23, my Blood Urea Nitrogen & Urea got up the required level.High Protein Diet was stopped and advised take more Fruits. BUN & Urea came normal. More fruits were being taken. It caused potassium level to go up. Then in fruits also restriction imposed on banana, coconut water & citrus fruits. Now I am on restricted diet. BUN & Urea are normal but potassium remains fluctuating. Now I am alright but feel very weak. I do little walk but get tired soon. I am not able to do yoga due to low energy. Vitamin supplements are being taken but not getting strength. Even feels stability problem. While standing feels giddiness and feels that i may fall. I am also feeling severe pain in my arms muscles. Now I am taking medicines for BP, Cholesterol, Blood Thinner, Enlarged Prostrate Gland, Vitamin supplement. I always think why I am feeling so many problems after Heart Bye Pass Surgery. Please advise.
Ans: I feel you need your medications adjusted. They're probably making you feel like this.

Career
Sir, My father forced me to B-tech engineering degree. I completed my B-tech in chemical engineering in 2008 but our college didn't gave any placementin core chemical. I wanted to go for higher education like M-tech or MBA, but my father didn't make that happen. I gave many interviews from outside in pvt sector and not selected in the final interview. I also qualified in PSUs and same thing happened not qualified in the final selection process. In PSUs also they are wanting higher education. Recently I have done one internship in AI with project from Skillible and one internship in cyber security with project from Edunet foundation. I have 2 years of experience as a math expert in Chegg India. What will I do, please suggest. My father has completely ruined my life.
Ans: Nodody can ruin your career if you have the potential. Your father is not your enemy.
1. Further Education (If Feasible)
If higher education was a roadblock before but is now an option, consider pursuing an M.Tech (Chemical/AI/Cybersecurity) or an MBA (Operations, Data Analytics, or IT Management).
Distance learning programs from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and ISB could also be beneficial.
GATE 2025: If you're still interested in PSUs, qualifying GATE again with a high rank could give you opportunities.

2. Alternative Careers in Mathematics and Teaching
Since you have experience as a math expert at Chegg, you could look at:
Government teaching jobs (NET, SET exams).
Private coaching (IIT-JEE/NEET coaching institutes like FIITJEE, Aakash, etc.).
Online tutoring platforms (Vedantu, Unacademy, Byju’s, Cuemath, etc.).
Actuarial Science or Data Analytics, which involve heavy mathematical modeling.

These are few options. Many are available. Work hard.
