Is JNU's B.Tech in Electronics & Communications Engineering Worth it for My Son?

He has worked as a lecturer and professor at the Kuppam Engineering College, Kuppam; the NRI Group of Institutions in Bhopal; and the Bhopal Institute of Technology and Science in Bhopal.
Parthiban qualified for GATE in 2002, 2011 and 2013 and has been training aspirants to prepare for NEET-UG and IIT-JEE.

Is it worth doing a B Tech Course from JNU in Electronics & Communications Engineering? My Son is getting this based on his JEE Mains result? Should we proceed ahead? Please guide.

Nothing is stopping me. It was just a query since I needed an expert advice. Since JNU is not known much for Technical Courses.

Ans: I meant that thought about JNU in particular.
There are IITs which are still in their development stages, sometimes students move around for classes and for basic amenities.
JNU is developing. So, if we can accommodate that then it's easier for us.
JNU is among the top 10 universities on NIRF's list, so it attracts better performers to develop it's new ventures. Engineering is new to them but we can expect them to well in this area too.
If there are older well established institutions in your vault as options you can check on them while also minding on the financial aspects.

Hello sir My son has got seat in MITWPU pune in electronics and communication engineer wit AIML in 6 years integrated b.tech course after 10th.Is it worth to go or should try 11th 12th and JEE please guide we are very confused and concerned.

this 6 year b.tech is only prevalent in private universities like MIT, NMIMS, LPU etc. This is a new trend. I would suggest not to go with it till it gets global acceptance.

IIM Calcutta, IIFT Kolkata, IISWBM, IMI Kolkata
Among these IISWBM could have a lower fees as compared to the other 3. But IIM and IIFT are much better colleges.

Ans: Can do job in any field including Finance, HR, Marketing, etc. There is no restriction in which field a b pharm student can choose in his MBA studies.

Ans: If you are doing CSE then you may have job opportunities abroad. Also you may have to interact a lot with foreign clients. In that case not being conversant with english could create problem

Meri daughter Jaipuria institute of management se finance aur it mein MBA padh rahi hai vahan ka placement kaisa hai.

Ans: They do have some placements but it is not 100%. The average package out there would be Rs. 7 to 9 lpa. There may not be great finance placements and the finance jobs out there would be more marketing oriented.

Ans: The language you should learn would depend on which country you want to settle. Each country would require you to know its local language if you want to do the job there.

Ans: Look at your interest and accordingly decide. The skill sets required for each of the courses is quite different. All three have decent opportunity of placements and would depend on the college you get in. If you are not sure about the field, then would recommend you to do MBA and decide on your specialization in the 2nd year where there are options of IT / Systems in some of the colleges.

Ans: Scholarships are available from various sources. but there may not be too many available to study in East Asian countries. Check consultancy companies that focus on East Asia. In some cases you can visit the consulate to get information about scholarships in those countries. Can also visit college websites, online scholarship databases, official study abroad pages.

Ans: Which engineering discipline is more preferred is a personal choice. However, here are the prospects for each. Semiconductor engineering is likely to see explosive growth in niche, high-tech manufacturing roles.

CCE will expand with the digital transformation and infrastructure improvements related to 5G and communication systems.

ECE remains a safe and versatile choice, with its broad applicability across industries such as telecom, electronics, automotive, and defence.

If you prefer niche, highly specialized work, semiconductor engineering could offer the most growth. For broader job opportunities across industries, ECE or CCE may be better choices.

Hii sir ! This is ritika and I love a boy and we are in relationship since 7 years but there are some behavior of him he always have doubt on me that I am dating another boy he always says that start you screenshare in WhatsApp I even do because I don't want to lose him and he saw all of things of my phone yesterday he again asking for that and I do and there was a tab of instagram which was belongs to my roommate it was her I'd open in my chrome browser where she only wants to delete the I'd which she did from my phone these instagram thing happened approx one year ago but when he saw this I told him that was not mine but he continuously said I am cheater I cheated with him again he was like I know you have two mobile phones and you cheated with me. I love him soo much but he cannot try to accept that . Even I don't talk to my male classmate because he didn't want ki main kisi boy se baat karu Is it fair , am I cheater ? I love him unconditionally I support him in all his career or decision but again he was like I cheated with him we are in long distance relationship but I can't cheat him . Literally I am feeling depressed ????

Please understand that you did nothing wrong. Why would you even question yourself? You know you never cheated. It's his issue that he cannot trust. Yes, in a relationship we all try to comfort our partners but that too should be to a certain extent. And, in that process, if your mental health is being compromised, I don't see how it's a healthy relationship.

I don't want to tell you what to do, but I would reassure you that YOU DID NOTHING WRONG. You don't need to prove yourself anymore. And I can also assure you that no matter what you do, he will still manage to find some flaws and doubt you. It's a typical behavior we see in some partners. You deserve peace, love, and above all, to be trusted.
