Hi, I am working in Indian company, was heading the department, due to some management changes they brought a new person from outside who is now heading the department, practically he has replaced me, but company is not removing me and asking to do what I was doing earlier, they now want me to explore new avenues for company. I told management that I want to quit, but they do not want me to leave... What should I do. I am trying but not getting good offers from Industry. It is humiliation but new incumbent is practically dow not anything about our business. It's is purely technical field. In this situation what should I do

Dear Mayank, Please guide me as to what I should do. I'm working as an HR officer (offrole). I am 30 years old. My salary is below the minimum wage rate. I have been working here since 1.9 years but still have got no increment. I'm a career oriented person. I want to move to the next position. When I was offered this job, it was mentioned I would be taken onroll after 1.5 yr to 2 years. But still there is nothing being done. New people that are being hired on same profile as me are hired on onroll (FTC) with salary higher than mine. Moreover, some HR interns have also been hired and once they are absorbed in the company, they will be on the company’s payroll. An HR intern whom I have trained from A to Z and is a fresher is being offered a regional HR position. This is a position that is higher than mine. I cannot understand why someone like me who has 1.9 years of experience in the company is not even considered. I have got an offer from a pharmaceutical company and I have resigned from my current job. But I'm still confused about whether I should leave this company or not. Please guide me about what to do so that I can grow on my career. In the current company, there is a lot of politics and I'm not able to deal with it. I'm losing my confidence. I want to keep this anonymous. Thank you.

I have been working in a company in Finance Department at GM Level for more than 12 years and i have got promotion in 3rd year (DGM to GM) in the company. My boss has been changed thrice. My current boss does not respect my area profile which is compliance, FS preparation, dealing auditors. He only understand business financial reporting. I work with the rule of law/book and sometime I got adamant as this is my nature of job is. My promotion is on hold and he is not ready to give a promotion. Instead, he is suggesting me to move to a different team for promotion if any openings are there. Few are even non-qualified one. How do I mitigate this situation? It is demotivating and frustrating now now working in the organisation since few my colleagues or people under me have moved to the next level and few reached at the level where I am.
