My Son is US citizen and brought up in Hyderabad india, He is studying here from childhood. Now he is doing Intermediate , He is in +2 doing MPC. As of now i dont know what should be his career path, Other kids who are indian citizen got to US on F1 visa for higher edu after GRE & Tofel etc. IS there any other alternate path which my son can take. What advantages does he have being US citizen for higher education in US or ANy other country.

Ans: As a US citizen, your son can benefit from in-state tuition rates and financial aid options at US universities. He can apply directly to US colleges without needing an F1 visa and explore programs that align with his interests, potentially easing the path to higher education and career opportunities.. Options in the USA:

1. Data Analysis/Science:
- With his strong Mathematics and Statistics background, he can pursue a career in data analysis or data science, as industries in the USA, such as tech, finance, and healthcare, have a growing demand for analytical skills.

2. Actuary:
- He could consider becoming an actuary, using statistical methods to assess risk in industries like insurance and finance. Obtaining relevant certifications would be beneficial.

3. Quantitative Analyst:

4. Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Analyzing business data to aid companies in making strategic decisions, utilizing statistical methods and data visualization tools.

5. Operations Research Analyst:
- Applying mathematical and analytical methods to optimize decision-making in areas like logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Options in European Countries:

1. Data Science/Analysis:
- Similar to the USA, European countries also have a growing demand for data professionals in various industries.

2. Researcher/Academia:
- Opportunities in research or academia, contributing to mathematical or statistical advancements.

3. Financial Analyst/Quantitative Analyst:
- European financial markets also seek professionals with strong quantitative skills.

4. Consulting:
- Management consulting firms value individuals with strong analytical backgrounds, providing data-driven insights to clients.

5. Government or Public Sector Roles:
- Opportunities in government agencies or public sector organizations that require statistical expertise for policy analysis.

1. Advanced Education:
- Depending on the chosen career, pursuing advanced degrees can enhance his skills and competitiveness.

2. Networking:
- Building a professional network through platforms like LinkedIn or local organizations is crucial.

3. Certifications:
- Depending on the field, certifications can enhance his credentials.

4. Job Market Research:
- Researching the specific job market and industry demands in the desired location is essential for tailoring his skills and applications.

I am engineer with 16 years of IT experience and now a break of 11 yrs. But in 11 yrs I had been taking Quantitative aptitude lectures as a visiting faculty in various engineering and MBA colleges and also done Mutual fund certification. I haven't been siting but doing many things professionally in last 11 yrs(In my subject of interest as Maths, Teaching, Finance, Accounting, Wealth Management). I was thinking of doing ESG certification. What kind of role I would get if i am CFA ESG certified.I am looking for Professionally and intellectually engaging role where I can contribute to Society. Not a very NGO type( I have tried working with few NGO's)
Ans: I won't recommend you to go for ESG certification unless you are having a background of Env. Engg and Environmental Impact Assessment. The certificate course of ESG is costly also. I would request you to open your own academy ( if off line not possible then online) and go for only one subject. Let me know your age.Focus only on one subject. You have explored many areas and now you are perplexed. Here the questions are assigned to me through rediffmail. So second time whether your question will come to me or not is not known to anyone of us. Due to the policy I can’t share my email ID and Phone Number. But I would request you to follow me in LINKEDIN and send request so that I can accept you, then through LINKEDIN I can counsel you in the future multiple times. Through LINKEDIN I will be readily and easily accessible. I have counselled and changed thousands of lives. As long as I am there I won’t allow you to be defeated. Mind that always I am there with you like an invisible shadow to show you the right career path.
