I have been trying for job since 4 yrs(21 yrs experience).Nobody (almost 500 Industry link people,high profile people etc etc). Nobody is lifting my phone ,helping ,discussing for getting job. Beleive me or not ,trust me or not but the real truth is I never made a single mistake against my previous companies. gap winding day by day,month by month,year by year ,age going on year by year,last decade of career , Which leads to RED flag on resume. For no options thus doing part time job which is not sufficient to survive a normal life for my family I am the first and last employee on this earth who is facing such strage problem

So your biggest role as a leader is to get the job done from others. Good that you have realized that the model where you do most of the work is not sustainable. So delegate work to individuals based on their capabilities, check in on them at regular intervals . Learn the art of the leadership model where you apply different strokes to different people and different times. Identify your own natural leadership style and adopt the right style of leadership based on the kind of team members you have and the task on hand.
Conduct workshops or get your personnel trained on what it means to be a trustworthy team member and how important it is to be accountable in the greater interest of the team. If need be you too enroll yourself in a leadership program. As a corporate trainer myself I can assure you that every skill can be learnt and developed.

Be an inspiring leader and then see how your team will measure up to standard you set for them. I always believe that the team is as good as the boss..... all the very best in leading your team !!

1. go prepared in meetings so that you can answer any questions that they may throw at you... write the answers down and practice them in front of a mirror
2. if they interrupt you, then say that they can ask whatever they want to ask after you have finished
3. be an assertive communicator... whatever you have to say, say it confidently in a respectful manner
4. dress up one rung higher than your peers , to look like a leader

You were chosen to lead so it is time to show them who the boss is...it will take time to establish authority, take it one day, one meeting and one interaction at a time, slowly and surely you'll be able to do it!!

It is good to see a significant raise in your salary in the last four years. You must have had a good reason to change companies so often. Three different companies in 04 yrs will not look good on any CV, so for now consolidate on what you have and stay put for a while and prove your worth in a single company.
