Sir should I take IIITB DSAI now? And leave Nsut Cse ,but if I do so I will lose 2.5lakhs so should I take this step?

Ans: Hello dear
Both CSE and DSAI are strong options. Since switching would mean losing Rs 2.5 lakhs, you should stay with NSUT CSE unless you have a strong passion for AI/DS and are willing to accept the financial loss for that specialization. Along with CSE, you can also learn DS/AI and many other courses either online or offline. It is recommended to stay with CSE @ NSUT if possible. The final decision will be yours.

Good luck.

Sir but here prof are not good seniors said here u have to study by urself and here I'll not get hostel here and what about the exposure part?
Ans: My dear, you have taken the admission by paying Rs. 2.5 L. Why didn't you do the inquiry before taking the admission? Self-study is part of the B.Tech. program. Before making a final decision, please visit the IIIITB campus in person and talk with the students about the faculty and placement record. If you are satisfied there, then you may reconsider your decision and will not feel regret about losing 2.5 L. Please do not make decisions while sitting remotely. Go, visit, see with your own eyes, then decide IIITB.

Sir I've visited both campus, the only reason I'm hesitating about IIITB is its fees, I doubt whether it will be worth it to pay 30 lakh for a Btech degree
Ans: Be with NSUT for peace of mind and end your dilemma early. Best of luck.

Sir should I take IIITB DSAI now? And leave Nsut Csai I didn't found it good prof are not interested in teaching and the amt of reservation is crazzy people with very ranks are here also, but if I do so I will lose 2.5lakhs so should I take this step?
Ans: A detailed examination of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence programme at NSUT and the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence track at IIIT-B reveals marked contrasts across academics, infrastructure, faculty, industry engagement and financial considerations. NSUT’s CSAI curriculum aligns with UGC-NEP guidelines and covers AI, ML, data science and cloud computing, yet student feedback highlights inconsistent teaching enthusiasm among faculty, with passing rates of 85–90 percent but some instructors perceived as disengaged, and hands-on lab resources requiring enhancement. Placements for CSAI average approximately 67 percent over the last three years, with a concentration in core technology firms but lower uptake than flagship computer science offerings. Industry collaborations exist through campus drives by Google, Microsoft and Amazon, but students report limited research projects or apprenticeship pipelines within AI specialisations. Campus infrastructure at NSUT is robust in library and sports but advanced AI-focused laboratories and high-performance computing clusters remain underdeveloped, while strict on-campus regulations and a broad reservation policy have diluted peer-group academic cohesion according to alumni. NSUT’s refund policy under CMAC provisions allows full tuition reimbursement minus processing fees if a seat is relinquished before the final withdrawal deadline, but post-deadline resignations forfeit all fees except caution deposits, making any mid-course transfer financially irreversible beyond ?1,000 processing charges. Conversely, IIIT-B’s DSAI programme delivers a highly specialised syllabus with integrated research courses, supported by a 9-acre Electronics City campus featuring state-of-the-art AI labs, GPU clusters and dedicated data science centres. Faculty profiles at IIIT-B show a majority with PhDs in data science and industry experience exceeding two decades, reflected in more than 90 percent pass rates and mentoring for international conference publications. Placements for Data Science and AI graduates exceed 98 percent, drawing offers from top analytics firms, startups and research institutes, facilitated through structured industry partnerships and mandatory internships embedded within the curriculum. Financially, transitioning to IIIT-B entails a sacrifice of ?2.5 lakhs in NSUT fees, but yields immediate access to a globally recognised AI ecosystem, superior mentorship and near-universal placement outcomes.

Recommendation: Considering stronger industry integration, advanced AI research facilities, consistent high placement rates and dedicated faculty expertise, shifting to IIIT-B’s DSAI offers a more favourable environment for long-term career development despite the upfront financial cost. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps

IIT-JEE, NEET-UG, SAT, CLAT, CA, CS Exam Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Career
My son will be appearing for JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2026 and will participate in JoSAA Counselling 2026. I request clarification regarding the GEN-EWS certificate date requirement for next year. I have already applied for an EWS certificate for current year 2025, and the application is under process. However, I am unsure whether this certificate will be accepted during JoSAA 2026, or whether candidates will be required to submit a fresh certificate for FY 2026–27 (issued on or after 1 April 2026). My concern is that if JoSAA requires a certificate issued after 1 April 2026, students will have only 1–1.5 months to complete the entire procedure, which is difficult considering normal government processing timelines. Also, during current JEE form filling, students are asked to upload a GEN-EWS certificate issued on or after 1 April 2025, or an application acknowledgement. This has created confusion among parents regarding which year’s certificate will finally be valid at the time of counselling. I request your kind guidance on: Which GEN-EWS certificate will be accepted for JoSAA Counselling 2026 — a certificate for FY 2025–26 (issued after 1 April 2025), or a new certificate for FY 2026–27 (issued after 1 April 2026)?
Ans: Hi
You need not worry about the EWS certificate. Even if you apply for the next year's certificate on 1 Apr 2026, the second session of JEE MAINS will still be held, followed by JEE ADVANCED, which will be held in May. JOSAA starts in June. so you will have 2 months in hand for fresh EWS certificate.
