My son is studying in class 10th in reputed public school .He is sharp in studies but spends more time playing computer games.No doubt he attends school and tuitions regularly but otherwise more interested in computer applications/games & solving computer /mobile related problems.Can he attend any computer course to boost his career and & utilise time while using computer in extra time alongwith studies

Sir, My son is doing his +12 and he is not great in Maths or Science. Still he wants to BE computer science. Let me know if there any other option. He enjoys excercising and things out off box. He is not interested in arts and not good a languages. Let me know what option he can choose. As a parent I just want him to be choose career where he is passionate about.

Ans: Hello! It can be difficult to put down a career option right now without realising what are the options that are available. Basic Math & Science skills are required at most jobs & become more important at senior roles. In case he still would like to pursue a BE/Bsc in Computer Science - he should evaluate the course curriculum first before jumping into it. I have little knowledge of his strengths thus it would be difficult to suggest options. Since you mention that he enjoys exercising - A course in sports management could be an interesting option for him.
