Sirf, maine 12th boards 2024 me pcb se pass kra hain .aur maine 2025 me cbse se as a private candidate maths additional opt kiya . Am i eligible for jee and the colleges like -nit accept 2 marksheet of different year ??

Ans: Hello Anmol
You can appear for JEE (Main) 2025 and NIT admissions if you successfully clear Mathematics in 2025 and fulfill the aggregate percentage or percentile requirements. You are eligible as a private candidate, provided you meet the subject requirements. You must ensure that both marksheets fulfill the JEE Main eligibility criteria (minimum 75% aggregate for General/EWS category or be in the top 20 percentile of your board; for SC/ST/PwD, the minimum is 65%). Most institutions, including NITs, accept two mark sheets from different years, provided both are from recognized boards like CBSE. During counseling (like JoSAA for NITs), you may be required to submit both marksheets, and they will validate them for eligibility.
