Sir i passed BE civil in 2019 and currently working in contractor engineer as a site engineer. I want to quite my job and built a careers also in civil line. Kindly get me a good suggestions..

Ans: I assume your reason for looking for change is posting at the site. Look for large civil engineering contractors operating in your area, explore their websites, speak to their HR / Recruitment Head and identify possible opening and see if they interest you. Also check with your batchmates if they can indicate any openings in their firms,

Hi, I have completed graduation in Computer Science and i am working in construction field since 12 years in documentation works mostly. But i am unable to get satisfied in this due to non technical knowledge. As i am unable to do the work what actually civil engineers does. I am working only with superiors support. When superiors change or if company remove me , then i cant change with this education background in this field though I have experience. So I wanted to change career but feels struck. Can any one suggest which would be best and How to switch careers?

Ans: Switching careers isn't easy, especially in the present day age and stage we are in. Get a professional to make out a resume for you to suit the job that you want to do and keep looking around. I also suggest that you do some additional courses in CS to sharpen your knowledge and core skills which will help you to change over to your core field. Till such time, learn to enjoy what you have in hand... look at what value addition you can do to your job output with your vast experience in the construction field. Also see how you can use your CS knowledge to improve systems in your current job.

I am civil engineering 2015 passout i have experience but the experience which i have one is not related to other work what can do can anyone please help me. I do work as faculty,for 2years, I do work on traffic surveying 1year I do work in construction for 1year as qs surveyor I do work on environment impact assessment 1 year as gis and autocad Now I have career gap of 1 year now I don't want to do please anyone help me to guide me.

Sir if i failed in boards 2024-2025 but i got 99 percentile in jee mains 2025 will this marks be considered for 2025-26 if i am gonna give improvement exam or should i write a new exam for 2025-26??

Ans: Very surprising. If you fail in the 2024-25 board exams, your 99 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 will not be valid for admission since you must pass Class 12 with at least 75%.
First, focus on clearing your boards in the compartment exam in July 2025.
If you pass with 75% (or 65% for SC/ST), you can still take admission with your 2025 JEE Mains score.
If not, prepare for JEE Mains 2026 and improve your board marks together.

Hello sir, I am a first year BTech CSE student at IIT Bhilai. When I had joined the college the average package for my branch was 19LPA but this year the average package has fallen down to 15 LPA. Given that recession is going on across the globe and that the alumni network of IIT Bhilai is not very vast, I feel that getting a degree from this college will be waste of my money. Should I drop this college and appear this year for BITSAT or should I try to complete my degree and then go for MBA from top IIMs like ABC?

Ans: IIT Bhilai is far better than Bits. Check faculty profiles. So, complete your degree and then go for MBA from top IIMs like ABC.

Ans: Based on previous years' trends, you have a fair chance of getting CSE or IT in some of the lower NITs or newer NITs. See previous years' cut off

Ans: CSE Possibilities in NITs
NIT Agartala – High chance for CSE in later rounds.
NIT Mizoram, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Nagaland, NIT Sikkim – High chance for CSE.
NIT Silchar – Possible for CSE in later rounds (since it's your home state NIT).

ECE Possibilities in NITs
NIT Silchar – High chance for ECE due to Home State Quota.
NIT Jalandhar, NIT Raipur, NIT Patna, NIT Hamirpur – Possible for ECE.
NIT Durgapur (Home State) – Medium chance for ECE, but depends on final cutoffs.
