I am Nishant Tiwari with B. Tec. In cse, mba in operations and business analytics, EMBA in marketing and finance from IIT kharagpur having 10 years experience. Now i am looking for new job since 2023 but till now i didn't get any interview call. What shoud i do? What is going wrong.

Ans: Approach various placement agencies. Also apply through online portals. Look for what are the skill sets that the employers are looking for and do short courses to train yourself.

Hello, I am 42 old male. I have a total of 19 yrs of experience in IT industry (software development). I worked in a reputed company for the past 14yrs and was let go in Apr 2023 due to restructuring. I have played multiple roles in management for around 10 yrs like Engineering manager, Product manager and Project Manager. When I apply for similar postition in various companies on popular sites known for networking and jobs, I am unable to get calls. Can you guide me how to look for the right opportunity? How can I get calls from companies?

Ans: Good to see you seeking a job in IT. Companies in IT look to add women on their roles. I suggest connecting with your class mates working in IT industry or IT roles elsewhere and they will be able to get you an opportunity to be interviewed by their company's HR. Also talk to your placement head and seek his suggestions, connections. Make a well rounded biodata, make applications with a cover note to convince the employers on how you can add value to the company. In case there are some new software, languages, skills that you need to learn, go for them simultaneously. You are sure to succeed.

Requesting you not to panic at this early stage. Let her appear for JEE session 2 and the state-level engineering entrance test. Let all the results out. You have ample time to think about the available options for engineering admission. At this stage, no need to think about management quota unless and until you want a particular branch in a particular college. Depending on her score in upcoming exams, she may get admission to reputed engineering either in Pune or Bengaluru

Ans: Assuming STCG is from Shares on which STT is paid and sold after 23 Jul 2024, your tax liability for FY 2024-25 shall be around Rs.21300
