Namaste Sir I will start my btech in computer science from 2024 batch. Please suggest me or guide me how can I get good placement at the end of my Betech. Please show me path

Ans: Vikas, Congrats to You Joining BTech-CSE.

Here are some important steps/tips/roadmap:

(1) If college not yet started, visit the campus/canteen/playground etc. and spend 1-2 hours.
(2) Read all the circulars/information, put on Notice Board to get some ideas about the college.
(3) After joining college, have your own limited (good) friend circle, based on your values/interests.
(4) Attend all the classes without fail & give importance to class notes, given by the Faculties.
(5) Have / maintain a good/professional relationships with all Faculties of CSE Department.
(6) Try to maintain a decent SGPA/.CGPA/Score till 4th year, preferably 8.50 & above.
(7) Create your Professional-Looking LinkedIn Profile.
(8) Keep upgrading your skills through NPTEL, Coursera, Internshala, LinkedIn etc. and / or recommended by your Department's Faculties.
(9) Put Job Alerts in LinkedIn, based on your domain i.e. CSE.
(10) Whenever you get notifications of job alerts in LinkedIn, go through the JD & Company Profile.
(11) Keep researching about the domain in LinkedIn/Quora/Google till 4th year.
(12) Whenever possible, try to interact with 2-3 students of 2nd to 4th year to get some important information for you to plan in advance.
(13) From 1st year till your 3rd year, know the companies which are visiting your Campus, especially Software/IT Companies.
(14) Visit those Companies' Websites to learn about the services provided/manpower & manpower strength/other information.
(15) Once you enter your 4th year, start slowly preparing for Campus Placement after know the standard selection process such as, assessment test, interview (offline or online), group discussion, HR round etc.
(16) Prepare around 25 Technical & Non-Technical Questions after researching about the Companies and in google also.
(17) Conduct your own Mock Interviews at home with the help of family members and friends. Record in your mobile, reply and check what all improvements you should have as far as your answers to the questions are concerned and also in your body language.
(18) Prepare a Professonal 1-Page Resume (enough as you are a fresher) which you can prepare from 'cultivatedculture' resume building website which is FREE also.
(19) Please scroll down and ready my 1-2 answers in which I have clearly mentioned how your Resume should be.
(20) And make sure you have mentioned clickable your LinkedIn Profile on Resume.
(21) It is highly advisable to have a separate / new Gmail account, especially for Job Applications (if college admits for the same just before Campus Recruitment Drive).

Hello Sir. I've just graduated my 12th grade and I want to pursue my bachelor's in business administration. I've been selected by Mahindra University, Hyderabad (3 years BBA in economics and finance+ 4th year honours & research optional); Jindal Global University (BBA honours in finance 4 years), Haryana and I'm also considering Nalsar University (IPM BBA+MBA). My plan is to go abroad for my MBA and I'm worried if I will get placements from nalsar after my 3 year BBA course because I don't want to stay in NALSAR for my MBA. I'm planning on leaving after 3 years. Please guide me on what I should do right now. Thank you.

Ans: All the three colleges look decent. Can prefer NALSAR as it is a known college and has been running this course for some time. Also the advantage is you can leave after 3rd year or 4th year (for US universities you may require 4 years of education after graduation) in order to pursue foreign education.

We are couple with 1 child. However, struggling with schools for my 11 year old who has autism, can talk and severe adhd. Schools are saying that they cannot enrol him yet due to behaviour and the fact that he wont listen to anyone and behave badly. He is smart in academics but likes to do things as he wishes creating issues. he struggles with peer communication and sitting in one place and will slouch and fall from the chair. Are there any options that we can look at. As his IQ is normal we feel he will struggle in a special school as well.

Ans: Dear Madam/Sir. Appreciate you reach out to improve core strength as many people do neglect core muscle strength. A strong core is essential for better posture, stability, and overall fitness. To strengthen your core, start with a plank, where you lift your body onto your forearms and toes, keeping your back straight and holding the position for 30-60 seconds. Next, try the bird-dog by getting on all fours, stretching one arm forward and the opposite leg backward, holding for a few seconds, and switching sides. The dead bug is another great exercise—lie on your back with arms and legs raised, then slowly lower one arm and the opposite leg before switching. For lower back and glute activation, perform glute bridges by lying on your back with knees bent, lifting your hips up, and lowering them slowly. Russian twists improve oblique strength; sit with bent knees, lean back slightly, and twist your torso side to side. Leg raises help target the lower abs—lie flat, lift both legs straight up, and lower them without touching the ground. Lastly, try the hollow body hold by lying on your back, lifting your shoulders and legs slightly off the ground, and holding the position while keeping your core engaged. Yes Income Tax department has allowed deduction of HRA for 2 eligible houses provided you should have proper records for validation like rent receipts, actual payment details etc.
And eligible amount of HRA calculation is based on your Rent paid, Basic Salary, period of tenancy & Location of houses.
