Hello sir, My operations head i.e. branch head is younger to me and she has achieved a lot in last 3 years. She really has a good grasping power and I fail in this. I take lot of time to learn new things. Can you help me with this issue. Because of this, I am failing to grow in my current organization and in my work. This is the reason why my salary is less than Rs 50,000. Also my current organization is close to where I stay so I am not looking forward to change my job. I want to grow in my current organization and earn more. How can you help me?

Ans: I really don't know your area of activity as to what kind of organisation and operations, this is a bits and pieces question.. Riddle.

You have accepted that you have low grasping power, reason, that there is NO focus on the job?
Your comfort zone is satisfied organisation is near to your house.

It's important to prove your worth to the organization, otherwise you will be left behind as the case is now!

I suggest do a SWOT ANALYSIS about yourself and how to stay focussed on the task & achieve organizational goals.
It's then when you will be valued and grow.

Help yourself, no one knows better about the job you are doing than you!
Got it..!
Start with daily activities, weekly,monthly,quarterly & annual goals ...shrug off your complacency... Deliver or be Driven out... Bitter pill to swallow.. So don't take things lightly start now!

Dear Mayank, Please guide me as to what I should do. I'm working as an HR officer (offrole). I am 30 years old. My salary is below the minimum wage rate. I have been working here since 1.9 years but still have got no increment. I'm a career oriented person. I want to move to the next position. When I was offered this job, it was mentioned I would be taken onroll after 1.5 yr to 2 years. But still there is nothing being done. New people that are being hired on same profile as me are hired on onroll (FTC) with salary higher than mine. Moreover, some HR interns have also been hired and once they are absorbed in the company, they will be on the company’s payroll. An HR intern whom I have trained from A to Z and is a fresher is being offered a regional HR position. This is a position that is higher than mine. I cannot understand why someone like me who has 1.9 years of experience in the company is not even considered. I have got an offer from a pharmaceutical company and I have resigned from my current job. But I'm still confused about whether I should leave this company or not. Please guide me about what to do so that I can grow on my career. In the current company, there is a lot of politics and I'm not able to deal with it. I'm losing my confidence. I want to keep this anonymous. Thank you.
Ans:

You must discuss these concerns you have regarding your career not growing in the same manner as your colleagues with your manager or HR.

If it can be resolved, then continue on your current role.

Else, you can consider the new job after you have done due diligence about the new company and its management.

Im 49 years old i worked as a teacher in a private unaided school in Telangana Medchal Mandal for the past 24 years.I started my career in teaching in this school since 1998 -2024 March 15. I was asked to quit the school since the new management wanted to have teachers according to their whims and fancies. I worked for her parents when the parents died the property was divided among her daughters finally the elder one cornered it she didn't want the old staff to work and wanted to appoint new staff. When my old correspondent (her mother) when we asked for PF she assured i can't insure right now because i should have done right at the inception of the school so i promise to pay good will when you leave the school for the service rendered towards the school unfortunately she too died in 2021 then her daughter present correspondent didn't even do any favour Unfortunate thing i worked for such an institution there i had not facilities of PF . I served so loyally for this institution as a token of gratitude to my service.they didn't pay anything. Finding a job in other institution they doubt over long standing experience in one school and owing my age they are hesitant to offer a job i have attended few interviews in school . I'm running pillar to post to find a job to support myself. Im helpless and desperate don't know what to do. Please help mem

May I suggest you start with taking private tutions, given your rich experience in teaching I am sure you will make positive impact in the lives of students. Initially you may find it difficult ... but as you take steps...over the period a good path would be laid.
