Hello Mayank ji, My name is Anand (age 36Years), I am presently working as Executive engineer (as a facility manager of the institute), earlier part of construction project execution in same Government institute with about 17years technical experience in total. I have Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and electronics, planning for higher education either in technical (MTech) or administrative (MBA) full time/part time (Planning to take leave from job) preferred place is Bangalore. What are the course options available for me along with good to better institutes which I can opt for? IIMB is one of the option for me? Do I have to write CAT entrance test for all such entries or based on experience some entry is possible? Other details like expenditure for completion of course? what are the career growth options available for my profile? Thanks in advance

Ans: With your 17 years of technical experience, you may consider pursuing an Executive MBA (EMBA) program. The EMBA program is designed for experienced professionals, and it focuses on leadership, strategic management, and business administration. There are several top-rated institutes in Bangalore that offer EMBA programs, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bangalore, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), among others. However, some institutes may consider your work experience as an eligibility criterion and waive off the entrance test. Regarding career growth options, an EMBA degree can open up new opportunities in leadership and strategic management roles. With your technical background and an EMBA degree, you can move into senior management roles.

Ans: Look out for job and see what kind of openings are available. Can consult a few placement agencies. Leave your service only if you have a good job at hand else it should not happen that you do not have anything at hand at the end of the day. Can pursue Executive MBA. Can check ISB has a course for people with 15+ years work ex.
