Patrick Dsouza is the founder of Patrick100.
Along with his wife, Rochelle, he trains students for competitive management entrance exams such as the Common Admission Test, the Xavier Aptitude Test, Common Management Admission Test and the Common Entrance Test.
They also train students for group discussions and interviews.
Patrick has scored in the 100 percentile six times in CAT. He achieved the first rank in XAT twice, in CET thrice and once in the Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test.

Hello Gurus, I am a Mechanical Engineer with a BE and 16 yrs experience in a PSU currently working as an AGM in Purchase Dept. I still have almost 20 years of service and have good chances of getting top management in my company . To have an edge over others i want to do an MBA which will enhance my skills and also increase my educational qualification as currently I only have a BE. Hence, I request all gurus to advise me which colleges are offering one year MBA programmes (offline course as I can take study leave for an year) in Bangalore and about the admission process in them. Do I have to attend any entrance exam even for a one year MBA programme. Also , kindly suggest me which stream MBA should I join to enhance my chances of reaching top management positions in future.

Ans: Best college would be IIM Bangalore Executive MBA course for which you need to write GMAT exam. Another good option is ISB Hyderabad. They have an MBA for students with 15+ years work ex. Can do MBA in Operations as you are in Purchase or do general Management course

Hi Patrick. I'm 41, working. I'm interested in doing MBA by continuing my job too. Unable to do full time course. Is there any online MBA options? Do I have appear for any entrance test for pursuing MBA? Kindly guide

Ans: There are quite a few online MBA options. There are also part time MBA options where you can do an MBA along with job and attend college either on weekends or once in 3 months.
These MBA courses do not provide placements. It's worth it if you have a good job at hand and would want to continue in the field that you are currently working in or for career progression within your organisation.

Sir I am Btech (EEE) graduate passed out in 2014 ..since 2016 I am working in a psu.earning 25 LPA .now I am carrying sir..and also living in semi urban area..after one year is it possible to pursue MBA from top colleges and how it will be helpful in my career development means of package ,life style etc compared to my present job ( job in govt power generation sector,located in remote area, low chances of getting promotions ,less work pressure)

Ans: Your salary of 25 lpa looks good for a rural posting. Plus you have a secured job. Unless you are quite aspirational, would recommend you to continue in your job.
If you want fast growth then can do Executive MBA from one of the top colleges. Usually students with 5 to 15 years of work ex do Executive MBA. You will have to write GMAT exam for the same.

Ans: ISB Hyderabad has a course for people with 15+ years work experience. That could be a good option for you. Another would be executive MBA from IIM Bangalore. You will have to write GMAT exam to get into Executive MBA course. Contact the college directly to get more details about the criteria.

If he is ok and doing good with you, its my personal advice that you should think good about your marriage. As you have a son also his future depends on your today's actions. One more thing, when you ll not leave your past behind, you ll not be able to invest in your present. So I would advise you to stop talking to your ex and concentrate on your husband and kid.

Ans: you are in duress. a relationship as defined by you is not worth being in one. please break off, block him from all our touchpoints - social media/ phone etc...if need be change your phone number. heal yourself, focus on your self, become financially independent, feel good about yourself before you find your person.

Sorry to hear that you failed in CBSE board examination. Failing your CBSE board exams means you won't be eligible for JoSAA counseling. You can consider appearing for the CBSE improvement/compartment exam to improve your marks and meet the eligibility criteria for future JoSAA counseling. You can appear 12th via open board but again you have fulfill the eligibility criteria of min 75% for JoSSA counseling. Best of luck for your bright future.

96.56 percentile in jee Main, delhi kota general category which NIT OR IIIT i get with CSE or ECE branch all over India

With this percentile and OC, you have a chance to get admission to NIT but surely you can get admission to IIITs. Instead of thinking about pan India colleges, you have a chance to get admission to your nearest IIIT. Locate it and take the admission. Best of luck to you,
