Hello, I am a fresher, graduated in last year. I am interested in the role of Data Analyst job, but the market situation in these days are not good becoz of layoffs nd all, and that's why is joined a company as a WordPress Developer role in past three months and i currently working here.. Please give me suggestions how i switch the company of the role of Data Analyst Domain..

I have been working in a product based company for the past 7 years in an non-it background. Now i got an oppurtunity to work as an data analyst in the same company itself. But due to lack of skills and past experiance in this field, am facing a tough challenge here to understand what is happening in the team and the data analyst concepts. Am thinking to move back to the old team due to this. Am struck between whether to move to the old team or continue in this team. Can someone help me in this?

I am aged 49 with a 27 year career in IT - 21.5 years as individual contributor and rest in leadership role. In my last employment, I was asked to go after successfully executing a project; later on, I found that they hired me just for that project only. For the last 4 months, I have been applying for jobs but it looks like that my age goes against me. I have completed a four month course in AIML, learning new programming languages and keeping myself abreast with the latest trends. The differentiating aspect of my leadership is being hands-on; while the team gains confidence, my peers and leaders feel that I am being too indulgent. In some of the interviews that really went well, I was rejected as my technical capabilities seems to have threatened the incumbents. I have achieved the financial freedom and doesn't require a salary to keep the kitchen fires buring but I crave an engagement to retain my knowledge. Please guide
