Hello sir, I am 49 yrs having PG in IR & PM and Ph. D. from Social work department. Presently I am working as Sr. Executive (P&IR) in a PSU. Now i have change my job because 12 yrs I am working in same organisation. Please advice us for job searching.

Hello Mayank,I am a commerce graduate and have around 15 years of experience in back office operations.I am currently working at the document management department in an oil and gas MNC at a designation equivalent to that of a senior clerk.I am nearing 40 and I will be losing my current job in the next few months.My problem is that I am searching for a new job since one year but not getting any interviews. I guess this is due to my age (I am 40 and still at the clerical level) and my salary (around Rs 50,000) which is a bit on higher side with respect to my designation in my city.I don't have the skillsets or attitude for a team leader or managerial position.At present, I am not in a financial and mental state to acquire new skill sets, learn new things or start new businesses which are obvious suggestions.I can't work in BPOs as they don't hire associates at this salary and particularly at this age. Besides, I am not comfortable working night shifts.Could you suggest some different solution to my problem as I have already figured out/tried the common ones.Thanks in advance.Name withheld on request.

Hi Mayank. My age is 45 years and total I have 20 years of experience in India and Gulf. I have worked in multiple roles such as Administration/Secretary (2000 to 2012) in India and Heath & Safety Department (2012-till date) in Gulf. I don’t know in which role I should continue because I have more experience in Administration field but from last 8 years I am not in touch with this field. In Heath & safety job, it is site based job and once the site job finished then again I have to search for job (may be every 2-3 years) so I don’t want to continue in this type of Temporary job. Another problem is my age i.e. 45 years. I again started looking for administration/secretary job but they need young people (30- Max. 40 yrs). So I am confused what to do. Hi I 35 years old I completed my graduation In 2010 worked as teacher and telecaller for 1year I have taken digital marketing course I have 13 years gap. Now I need job
