Hello Sir, I'm 30 years married women I have done my B. E in 2016. Due to financial issue I started working in Non-IT field... So is there any possibility to start working in IT field

Ans: Hello dear.
You did not mention in which course you completed your B.E. Yet I assume you might have completed your B.E. either in I.T. or CS or some computer-related engineering. Also it is not clear what is the relation of financial issues related to the working field. You are just 30! There are full possibilities that you can start working in the I.T. field. Only you have to revise what you have learned and what additional knowledge you have. Nothing is impossible in life. I would like to quote here that around 90% aspirants of in engineering do not pursue the field in which they have done engineering. Recently this fact was also for IIT graduates and the results found were surprising. Learn the new era techniques as early as possible. Keep in touch with some I.T. professionals and ask them about the industry requirements. Plan accordingly. It is just a job of 6-8 months to master the basic skills. Apply with full confidence to multiple I.T. companies at a time. Create your strong CV and attractive presence on the LinkedIn website. Remember, nothing is impossible in life. Best of luck for your upcoming future.

Ans: Welcome back.
No problem with B.E. ETC. Any BE graduate with ETC can work in the IT field with just added skills. Please try to learn the basics of ML + AI + programming techniques and some other essential tools to work in the IT field. Even you can do some professional free courses by joining to "Coursera" website. Many websites provide excellent free courses as per the industry demand. Join the courses as per your liking. One can start his new life at any stage. Age is no bar for a willing person. Best of luck for your upcoming future.

Dear Sir, My son rank is 41000 in jee mains and DA-IICT has launched two BS - MS Dual program in IT and second in AI and Data science. What are chances to get this course ? What is the scope of this course? In can see now in job portals trend is changing and companies only ask for Bachelors/Master degree and need to focus on skills. Is it a good option?
Ans: Sachin Sir, At a CRL rank of 41,000, securing a seat in DA-IICT’s regular B.Tech programs is unlikely, as recent closing ranks for ICT, MnC, and VLSI are much higher. However, the institute’s newly launched 5-year BS–MS Dual Degree programs in IT and Data Science & AI offer a more realistic alternative. These programs admit students based on JEE Main Mathematics percentile or CUET scores, not overall CRL, and since 2026 is their first admission cycle, competition may be less intense.

This 5-year, 200-credit curriculum is ideal if your son is passionate about coding, AI, data science, cybersecurity, or research-oriented tech careers—provided the fee structure and longer commitment are manageable. It’s also wise to keep several reliable backup options rather than relying solely on DA-IICT.

Ultimately, success depends less on the degree and more on how your son invests his time: honing technical and communication skills, building a professional profile through projects/internships, networking with alumni and industry experts, maintaining visibility on platforms like LinkedIn, and developing emotional intelligence to confidently navigate his career path. All the BEST for Your Son's Prosperous Future!
