Hi I am having 20 years of experince in Telecom and struggling to survive in the job I have been valued as good employee every where but still couldnot survive in any company morethan 3 years please suggest. Gone with multiple lay offs and down in my career let me know how to excel in my current job

It is quite unfortuante that many like you have been facing Mid life career crisis . As Telecom Industry has seen many changes in terms of infrastructure developments , Technological advancements , The requirement of technical manpower has also been reduced to great extent. Most telecom companies either closed there operations or merged to keep themselves afloated . Now the only thing I see for you to change the track and get into Business developmental assignments . Sustaining 3 yrs in a job in todays' era is quite ok. so don't worry , keep working whereever you are.

Hello, I am 48 and working since 1996. Have worked with Airtel for 11 plus years and also earlier with Hutch and TTSL....majorly into telecom in my total work exp, rose to a DGM level in 2010 at Airtel with a v good CTC but had to leave them in 2017 as Jio the market disruptor had entered and no suitable role was left for me. Am an MBA in marketing and having solid work exp but somehow have not managed to land up a proper job till now ....the pandemic and the lockdown did not help at all !!! Hello. I am a 12th class student studying pcm from state board. I have my friends who gave nios and normal board simultaneously and it was totally acceptable by any college. Now even i want to give nios board in pcb or pcmb stream this year. The nios board conducts exam twice march-april and sept-oct. Therefore i will write the Sept-oct shift and get my board certificate. Since there is no age limit for neet, next year i will give neet exam prepared. NOTE: NEET ACCEPTS THE NIOS BOARD.

The first and foremost point is that you shouldn't follow your friends blindly. This generation is heavily influenced by their peers and often disregards the advice of older individuals, which can negatively impact the stability of your life.

I understand that you enjoy watching a lot of movies, which may be why you want to pursue your 12th grade through both NIOS and the State Board.

To be eligible for the NEET exam, you are required to study biology, along with physics and chemistry. Currently, you are focusing on PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and are not studying biology. Therefore, you MUST enroll in NIOS to meet the eligibility criteria set by NEET.

I’ve been concerned about the colour of my teeth for a while now. Despite brushing regularly, my teeth are quite yellow, especially my front teeth. I’ve tried a few over-the-counter whitening products, but they haven’t really worked, and I’m getting frustrated. How long can I expect the whitening effects to last?

Ans: Hello
Only a few of us are lucky enough to be born with pearly white teeth. The rest of us have to make do with teeth which have a naturally creamish, greyish or brownish tinge of varying degree. I am, of course, not referring to those who choose to have poor oral hygiene or are addicted to smoking or chewing tobacco.
I'm afraid brushing well - or even brushing obsessively - is not going to make your teeth any whiter. On the contrary, brushing excessively or brushing hard can make your teeth look even more discoloured by unintentionally wearing away the enamel (the hard, outermost and whitest of the tooth's layers)
Over-the-counter whitening products are essentially mild versions of chemical bleaching agents (intentionally kept mild because such products are used unsupervised) which have limited effect or may take a long time to show results.
Your dentist, on the other hand, can bleach your teeth using suitable agents of stronger concentration which will show quicker and more visible effect.
In some cases, where the discoloration cannot be corrected by bleaching, you may need to have veneers made for your front teeth which will 'hide' the discoloration.
Please consult your dentist to know your best option.

I’m currently working in an IT firm but planning to transition into management through an MBA. SNAP 2024 was my big shot at getting into one of the Symbiosis institutes. Once the results are out, how do I interpret my percentile, and what’s the typical cut-off for top institutes like SIBM Pune or SCMHRD? How can I make sure I ace the interviews?

HOW TO SELECT BEST MUTUAL FUND

Ans: Hello;

It depends on your risk appetite, financial profile and investment horizon.

This will lead you to the type of mutual fund you should look at!

Then you should look at rolling returns of funds in your shortlisted category across various time intervals

Evaluate fund performance versus category average and benchmark across time intervals

Check risk adjusted returns

Investment strategy/philosophy of the fund house/fund manager

AUM of the fund and hence TER, past record of the fund house, Exit load, lock-in, if any

Some AMCs do not allow NRIs from US and Canada to invest due to taxation issues. This needs to be borne in mind if you expect to migrate to these countries.

Even others who may allow need lot of paperwork and have constraints.

If you think you can do all this on your own, well and good, else you may contact a mutual fund distributor.
