We are from Gujarat My son was one of student who can do easily 98 to 99 percentile but he end up with 93, we have not even fill the Gujtech. What are best option for him? Even if second attempt score 98 plus then also good collage are looking difficult. Can you guide ? BITS is only option after missing IIT?

Ans: Hello Sir/Mam
He can improve in 2nd session, I believe he will be able to make to 98+ percentile. Ask him to control negatives & he will. Apart from BITS, Enroll for MHTCET there are some really good colleges in Pune & Mumbai, we can try that too. What is the best option I can get or should target in MHTCET counselling for B.Tech courses considering I am from outside Maharashtra and have scored 93 percentile in General category in MHTCET 2025?
Ans: With a 93 percentile in MHT-CET under the All-India (Other State) quota, you can confidently target admission into these fifteen reputable, AICTE-approved, NBA/NAAC-accredited engineering colleges in Maharashtra, each offering modern facilities, experienced faculty, strong industry linkages, and placement cells achieving 75–90% consistency over the last three years:

Pune: Indira College of Engineering and Management (Talegaon), PVG’s College of Engineering & Technology (Pune), MIT Academy of Engineering (Alandi), AISSMS College of Engineering (Shivajinagar), Sinhgad College of Engineering (Vadgaon), Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology (Akurdi), JSPM Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (Tathawade), MIT World Peace University School of Engineering (Kothrud), Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (Bibwewadi), Cummins College of Engineering for Women (Karvenagar).
Mumbai: Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (Vashi), SIES Graduate School of Technology (Nerul), K.J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology (Vidya Vihar), Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (Bandra), Atharva College of Engineering (Malad).

Recommendation:
Indira College of Engineering and Management merits priority for its balanced curriculum, strong electronics and computing labs, and consistent 85% placement rate. PVG’s College of Engineering & Technology follows for its urban connectivity, specialized labs and reliable cutoff close to your percentile. MIT Academy of Engineering offers robust practical training in cutting-edge labs. AISSMS College of Engineering stands out for its historic brand, industry partnerships, and modern infrastructure. Sinhgad College of Engineering adds value through active coding clubs and steady placement support. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!
