I hadn't cleared jee adv cutoff ...got 1 in math 22 in chem 16 in phy total 39 I am gen ews female can I get something on this score?
Ans: With a total of 39 marks in JEE Advanced 2025 (1 in Math, 22 in Chemistry, 16 in Physics) as a General EWS female candidate, you have not cleared the qualifying cutoff for your category, which is 31.5% aggregate and 9% in each subject for GEN-EWS, translating to much higher marks than your score. This means you are not eligible for IIT admission through JEE Advanced. However, you still have strong alternatives: if you have a good JEE Main score, you can participate in JoSAA counselling for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, as these institutes do not require JEE Advanced qualification. Additionally, many state engineering colleges and private universities (like VIT, SRM, Manipal) accept JEE Main or their own entrance exams. Some IITs also offer online BSc/BS programs (e.g., IIT Madras Data Science) that do not require JEE Advanced, just a qualifying exam or Class 12 marks. Recommendation: Focus on JEE Main counselling for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, apply for state-level engineering entrance exams, and explore private or deemed universities, ensuring you meet their eligibility criteria. Consider online degree programs from IITs as an alternative pathway if you remain interested in IIT academics. Have some more options as back-ups instead of relying only on JEE/JoSAA. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
