Ans: As far as Robotics is concerned, not yet developed much in India. But by the time, Son finishes his BTech, might develop. However, your son should keep updating the job market scenarios & keep upgrading your skills till from your 1st year till 4th year. All the BEST.

Hello sir - My son got Electronics and Computer Engineering in VIT Chennai. Also Robotics and Automation in Amrita coimbatore. Which one to choose. Kindly advise

Ans: Prefer CSE with VIT over Robotics & Automation. However, it depends upon your Son's interest, his aptitude, attitude, personality traits & his orientation style. If he is more interested in Robotics/Automation, he can go for it. Electronics is comparatively tougher than CSE. Whatever Institute / University & Branch your son chooses, he should keep upgrading his skills from his 1st year itself till his Campus Placement during your last year, from NPTEL, Internshala etc. and / or any other online platforms, recommended by his College Faculties, to be COMPETENT among other Students.

Sir my daughter scored 73.8 in 10+2 but maths percentile is very low @ 46. She wish to appear in BITSAT. Can she be eligible if she improves her score in improvement exam to be held in July by CBSE?

Ans: Eligibility for BITS Pilani Admission:
Minimum Requirement: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for engineering courses) and secured at least 75% aggregate marks in these three subjects or be among the top 20 percentile in their respective board exams.

BITS also requires minimum 60% marks in each of these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
Yes! If she improves her aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to 75% or above, she will meet the minimum eligibility criteria for BITSAT.
But my suggestion is to avoid engineering, because almost all streams in engineering require B.Sc. level math.
