Hello , i want to know more about M.tech integrated C.Sc.courses in VIT. Does this course have any future ? Will they get jobs on finishing ? Are companies hiring M.Tech integrated ? graduates ? .How are they different from B.Tech CSE ? Kindly help ,thank you
Ans: VIT’s Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science is a five-year program blending undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with specializations in high-demand areas like Data Science and Business Analytics. The curriculum is designed for advanced technical skills, research, and practical exposure, preparing students for roles in software development, data science, analytics, and IT consulting. Graduates are well-placed in reputed companies, and the degree is valued for its depth and industry alignment. Compared to B.Tech CSE, the integrated M.Tech offers a master’s degree, more research exposure, and advanced electives, making it ideal for those interested in specialization or R&D. Recommendation: If you are interested in a comprehensive, research-oriented program with strong placement prospects and are willing to commit five years, the integrated M.Tech at VIT is a solid choice with a promising future. However, it is advisable to prefer BTech, gain 2-3 years work experience and then think about pursuing MTech, if the need arise. It all depends upon your short-term/long-term career goals. All the best for your admission and a bright future!

Amity noida vs bml munjal for btech cs
Ans: Amity Noida’s CSE program reports an 80–85% placement rate (2023–2025) with 1,050+ recruiters like TCS, Amazon, and Microsoft, leveraging its NAAC A++ accreditation and NIRF #49 overall ranking. However, 30–40% of roles are mass-recruitment IT positions, with median salaries lagging behind premier institutions. Its curriculum integrates AI/ML and cloud computing but faces criticism for inconsistent core-tech opportunities. BML Munjal’s CSE demonstrates 84.5% placements with a stronger focus on emerging technologies (IoT, embedded systems) and industry-aligned labs, supported by recruiters like Google, Samsung, and Deloitte. While BML’s NIRF #83 management ranking reflects moderate institutional standing, its smaller batch size ensures personalized mentorship and higher consistency in securing roles with ~8.5 LPA average packages. Amity’s infrastructure and global collaborations (e.g., Arizona State University) offer broader exposure, but BML’s curriculum and innovation-driven projects better align with modern tech demands.

Recommendation: Opt for BML Munjal CSE for balanced industry-academia integration, consistent placements, and emerging tech training, while choosing Amity Noida if prioritizing institutional scale, diversity of recruiters, and established alumni networks despite variable core-sector outcomes. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hey sir I wanted to do mtech in Vit not the integrated the normal one , I have scored 8.5cgpa in btech , what iam worrying about my 12th marks which is 54 but criteria is 60 and in Vitmeee I have scored a good rank soo is there any possible will vit accept my 12th marks and more over my gate is score is preety decent soo is there any chance I can get into vit
Ans: Ashwin, VIT’s M.Tech eligibility criteria mandate a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and 12, along with 60% in graduation (or equivalent CGPA), as per the VITMEE 2025 information brochure . While your B.Tech CGPA of 8.5 and decent GATE score demonstrate strong academic capability, the 54% in Class 12 falls short of the institutional threshold. VIT’s admission process for M.Tech prioritizes VITMEE rank and GATE scores, but the 60% benchmark in 10th/12th is non-negotiable for eligibility, as industries partnering with VIT enforce this requirement for placements.

Recommendation: Contact the VIT admissions office directly to clarify if exceptions apply for candidates with exceptional UG/GATE performance, though precedents suggest strict adherence to criteria. Explore alternatives like NITs or state universities with relaxed 12th-grade requirements, leveraging your GATE score and B.Tech CGPA for admission. Consider reapplying after improving 12th marks via NIOS or state board re-evaluation if VIT remains a priority. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
