Ans: Sameer Sir, Some of the further options for further studies or careers (1) Can pursue MA in Economics or MBA with Specialisation in Finance, Data Analytics or Public Finance (2) Or can pursue Chartered Financial Analyst for finance, investment management & equity research (3) Can try for Banking & Finance Jobs such as Commercial Banking, Investment Banking & Financial Planning & Analysis (4) Govt. Jobs such as Public Sector Undertakings for the roles in research, policy analysis and financial management, Indian Economic Services, Civil Services & RBI, (4) After completing her PhD in Economics, can opt for Teaching also in Universities/Colleges (5) She can try for Research Jobs also like National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) (6) Non-Governmental Organisations and even World Bank/IMF are other options (6) Companies, especially in tech and consulting (like McKinsey, BCG, and Deloitte), hire economics graduates for roles in data analysis, business consulting, and market research.

My daughter has graduated in Economics (Hons) from DU in 2024. She plans to pursue Masters in Economics from NUS ( financial Economics)and she is also doing the First level of CFA appearing for exam in November 2024.
