Sir, my daughter has got MIT Manipal CSE in 1st round ( they have clubbed all specialisations to the core CSE ) , also got PES ECE RR campus. As you know she has VIT Chennai CSE AIML with her. We are planning to migrate to Bangalore for a better lifestyle, career and for my daughter’s college. We want her to have an overall growth in both academics and other co curriculum and extra curriculum activities. Same time she wants to pursue MS abroad in future. You have been my personal mentor for last 1.5 years on this regard. Now please help me to choose the best for my daughter which in turn is for ourselves too. Money is not a big concern on this regard. This is my personal request, please don’t share it publicly Sir

Ans: Order of Preference: PES ECE for holistic growth, followed by VIT AIML for specialization, or MIT CSE only if confident in managing academic pressure & please note its culture/non-academic atmosphere, which might not be suitable for some students.

Career
Hi Sir My daughter got opportunity to choose Amrita Bangalore CSE core, Manipal university Jaipur CSE core and Jain university bangalore CSE core. Please advise which one should be chosen. Thanks
Ans: Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore, Manipal University Jaipur, and Jain University Bangalore all offer BTech CSE with strong placement records and industry connections. Amrita Bangalore consistently achieves 85–90% placement rates, a 2024 average package of ?9.2 LPA, and top recruiters like Oracle, SAP Labs, and Walmart, with a curriculum aligned to current industry needs and a reputation for academic rigor and discipline. Manipal University Jaipur boasts a 98% placement rate for engineering, a 2023 average package of ?9 LPA, and over 289 recruiters including Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte; its CSE program is well-established, offers project-based learning, and is known for a vibrant campus environment and national brand value. Jain University Bangalore reports over 90% placement rates, an average package of ?8 LPA, and more than 1,000 recruiters, with a curriculum focused on skill development and a modern campus, but its peer and recruiter perception is slightly below Amrita and Manipal Jaipur. All three offer good infrastructure and faculty, but Amrita and Manipal Jaipur stand out for stronger academic reputation and industry acceptance. The recommendation is to prefer Manipal University Jaipur CSE for its superior placement consistency, national brand, and overall student experience, followed by Amrita Bangalore CSE, then Jain University Bangalore CSE. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
