My Daughter got 32890 Rank in JEE Main Session 2 2025. Our Quota is OBC-NCL. Want to know for Mechanical or any other stream if she can get seat in any of the NIT or GFTIs colleges. Our Home State is Telangana.

Ans: Hello just
The chances for Mechanical are low. However, you may try for the Civil or Metallurgy branches. It would be better to try to get the seat in the newly formed NITs & GFITs. Participating in JoSAA and CSAB special rounds is recommended. Keep branch options flexible to improve chances.

Sir, Which is best Civil, Metallurgy or Chemical.
Ans: If your daughter is interested in interior design, then Civil is the best. If interested in research, then metallurgy is best. But chemical engineering is not suitable for girls. It would be better for you to choose a computer-related branch. But if getting admission to newly formed NITs, you may prefer Civil over the other two options. Thanks
