Can my daughter with 93 percentile in JEE Main get a seat in NIT or GFTI for Mechanical Engineering?

Greetings, Received Income tax Intimation u/s 143(1) with respect to the return of income filed by for the Assessment year 2022-23 regarding demand notice of payment for sec 234b There was no Advance tax paid for the mentioned period FY 2021-22, And the ITR was filed on 31-12-2023. As such for calculation of 234B, the number of months from Apr 1st 2022 was calculated as 21 and the amount to be paid on the Assessed tax 103600 was calculated as (103600*1%)*21 which was filed as 21,756/- But the demand notice mentions the amount as 32,116 (which seems to be calculated as 31 months) Was my calculation of 234B considering 21 months (01-04-2022 -> 31-12-2023) correct, in which case should I ask for a rectification for reprocessing ? Sir, MY take home salary is ?82k x 12. Payslip mentioned gross salary as ?14lakh. I invest alongwith employer in NPS Tier I ?142000/-, ?150000 in PPF, ?50K additional in NPS 1 under 80CCD1B. I have no insurance, term plan. However, I invested ?1.5 Lakh in MF, Stocks. total deductions available is ?3.5 Lakh under old tax regime. I live in Employer provided Home. I am a freelancer based in India and earn through Upwork. Recently, the Income Tax Department has requested individuals with foreign income to refile their income tax returns. I already pay TDS and GST on my earnings and am trying to understand why refiling is necessary. I have already filed my returns and even received a tax refund. The TDS being deducted by Upwork is under the head 194O (which is for registered e-commerce operators in India). Also, I am getting the amount after its converted to INR. How does this make it a foreign income? Do I have to refile my Income tax?
