Ans: As a MBA in Marketing you can work in any field. Can work in Sales in FMCG, Consumer Durables, etc. Can work as Relationship Manager in Banks, Can work in Social Media Marketing, etc. Some of the unknown areas are Franchising, Retail Management, etc.

I am working in a software MNC for 10+ years. My company has been laying off people last couple of years as cost cutting measure. Now Management is putting undue pressure on me to resign to avoid paying severance. They are trying to implicate me in false PIP if I don't resign myself. What should I do?

Ans: Dismissal could be temporary, while termination is permanent.

Both can be on account of misconduct

My son secured 94% in the 12th boards and 580 in neet. He later joined SRM ramapuram and took CE. He is not happy with the college. He feels research field will be a better choice for me. He wants to try ISSER. What are the chances to get into ISSER for UR category. What other colleges he can aim that ara good for research

Ans: As he is interested in Research, he can appear for some of the Entrance Exams for the same. Some options: (1) IAT for admission into any one of the 7-IISER Branches. Please note, IISER-Pune & IISER-Kolkota are considered top branches out of 7.
