My Son has completed CS Cybersecurity undergrad from ASU Tempe, AZ USA this May, with 4.0 GPA in all 8 semesters, and also won the Moyer award. He is on OPT doing research, and looking for job. Does not want to do MS in tech, but is already studying AI ML online in USA. He wants to finally do MBA from one of the top 10 in USA. What will be the best route? Which field will be best for him? His plan is to finally not be in a job, and preferably return to India.

Ans: He must have an excellent GMAT score if he wants to do MBA from top 10 B-School of USA. Which field will be best for him that can't be told unless I talk to him. If he wants to return to India then why so much money is being spent for his education in USA? With a degree from USA he will not get any special treatment in Indian companies. I am always there to support him. Best of luck to your son. But take judicious decisions, because DECISION DECIDES DESTINY. GOD BLESS YOUR SON. Professor.........................:)

why one will have to pay tax at all if there is no income tax for those earning up to Rs 12 lakh per annum?

Ans: Technically there is no tax if taxable income upto 12 lakh (except special rate income), as you get rebate equivalent to tax charged. So you have to calculate tax as per slab rate first and reduce tax liability by way of rebate.
