I have compeletd my btech in 2022 in mechanical from vit. Now working as s software developer in PwC from past two years. What are the differenr opportunities for me in govt sector. I had also given gate once before and had got mtech in thermal in iit goa but not joined the course.

Ans: First you decide whether you want to be in the core field of Mechanical Engineering or Software. If it is software then don't try for Govt. job, because the best opportunity of software lies in private only. If you want to join GOVT. sector then try for different jobs and in GATE if your rank becomes too good directly you will get interview in PSUs. So first clear your mind.
