Can I get IIIT allahabad At 97.22 OBC?

Ans: Hi Shivam
there are fair chances of getting it. If not JOSAA, you will get through CSAB. But in my view, try improving a bit by controlling the negatives, and I am sure you will reach around 99, which will ensure your seat in JOSAA itself.

With a score of 93.98, you can get admission to any one of the IIITs. Chance for Pune is there but low @ Hyd & Allahabad.

Ans: CSE – Possible but competitive (may get in later rounds)
IT – Very high chance (likely in earlier rounds)

NIT Nagaland

NIT Meghalaya

NIT Puducherry (some branches)

You may get into:

IIITs in newer campuses or with less preferred branches like:

IIIT Bhopal

IIIT Nagpur

IIIT Ranchi, etc.

If father sales the plot and gift the money to his son or daughter in law. They purchase the house from that money. Did father has to pay ltcg tax or it will be set off as son or daughter in law has purchased home. Please assist

Ans: We advice that Father Purchases the House in the name of his son. Payment for purchase of house should go directly from father's account. This will ensure that Father gets the benefit u/s 54 for LTCGs.
If father gifts the money to his son or daughter-in-law, the transaction is complete (as Gift made to a relative) & no question of any LTCG benefit.

If you have the option to think for other branches and colleges, then please rethink. Try to get either CSE or DS or AI or the combination of these. Future of EEE is bright but not like that CSE, AI, DS. Best of luck to your son.
