Good Afternoon Sir, my daughter has got theough VIT Vellore CSE core in category 5. She might also get thru NIT in Mechanical or Chemical branch as we are from Chhattisgarh. Kindly suggest

Ans: Piyush Sir, Your daughter has secured admission to VIT Vellore for CSE (Category 5), which offers excellent placement opportunities with average packages around ?9.9 LPA and top recruiters like Microsoft and Amazon. However, Category 5 fees are high, approximately ?5 lakh per year.

As a home state candidate from Chhattisgarh, she also has good chances of admission to NITs in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering through home state reservation. These branches offer solid education with average packages of ?6-8 LPA and lower fees (around ?1-2 lakh per year).

If her priority is Computer Science with strong industry exposure and higher salary potential, VIT Vellore is a great choice despite higher fees. If budget is a concern and she is open to core branches, NITs provide quality education with government funding and good placements.

Recommendation: Weigh branch preference, career goals, and financial feasibility carefully. Participating in NIT counselling alongside VIT admission will help make an informed decision. All the best for your daughter's admission and a bright future!

Dear Sir, I am ok (though a little tough), with the fee but my concern is the future growth prospects and the brand image. As per us and my daughter we are not sure of the interest. Which option would provide a better future stability. Kindly suggest
Ans: Then prefer VIT-V-CSE

Good Afternoon Sir, my daughter has got 7700 rank in comedk, she already has PES aiml and vit cse. Should we try for comedk counselling. Can we get some better option with comedk
Ans: PES which campus RR or EC? VIT Which Category? Prefer PES-RR Campus. If VIT Category is beyond 2, have COMEDK also as 2nd option. If you hold the seat in VIT by paying the fee, please check its REFUND POLICY carefully. As far as 7700 Rank in COMEDK is concerned, here are the list of colleges/other information for your daughter's rank:
Prioritize NMIT, CMRIT, or BMSIT for robust placements and academic rigor. Opt for DBIT or SIT if seeking a balanced campus environment. Confirm branch-specific cutoffs during COMEDK counselling and monitor spot rounds for upgrades.

Good Morning Sir, VIT CSE Category 5, PES RR campus through JEE (Fee 5L), Comedk rank of 7703 are the options available. Through Comedk we will get comparatively lower fee options. My prime interest is academics, internship and placement opportunities. I would prefer future prospects over fee also. Pls suggest
Ans: Prefer PES-RR-ECE over others, if fee is affordable. Or try through COMKEDK by filling the choices beginning from Top collges - RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT etc. (though chances are less) then continue with other colleges such as DSCE, BIT, CMRIT etc.

Good Morning Sir, I am continuing with VIT Vellore CSE Core with category 5 and booked 6 bed Non apt type hostel also. I am not being provided Hosted at PES RR, have CSE AIML there thru PESUJEE and might need to go for PG at Bangalore. I am preferring VIT due to safety concerns for my daughter but she is insisting on PES for it's location. Highly confused. Pls suggest.
Ans: VIT-V is much crowded. Prefer PES RR Campus. Within the radius of 5-7 kms. she might good a good PG. Some high quality PGs might also be available. Joining early & searching for PG in Bengaluru is recommened.

Good Evening Sir, my daughter has got NIT Raipur Civil in the 1st counselling and should move to Chemical or Mechanical. Already has PES Ring Road CSE AIML thru Jee and VIT Vellore CSE Core in category 5. We have already blocked both by paying necesaary fee. We would prefer PES over VIT as recommended by you. Should we cancel PES for NIT, or continue with PES
