I am 48 years currently a house wife but want to do a course in teaching. I don't have any prior teacher experience. I thought of doing IGNOU BEd but I am not eligible as it requires 2 year NCTE trained teacher course face to face mode. How can I do that BEd course just wanted to become a teacher for 6 to 9th grade teacher are there any possibilities as I am not that aware

Ans: Madam, IGNOU offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program for in-service elementary teachers. However, those without prior teaching experience or a teacher training qualification do not meet the eligibility criteria for direct admission. Alternative pathways include enrolling in an NCTE-recognized teacher training program, such as the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE), or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Regular B.Ed. programs, typically two years long, also accept candidates without prior teaching experience. To apply, visit the NCTE website, understand admission requirements, plan accordingly, consider factors like program duration, location, and mode of study, and verify age limits. Hello sir, im a 35 year old individual having an MBA degree having worked with a few companies like Yes Bank, Vidyalankar classes and publications, LOOP mobile and VFS global pvt ltd. Due to some family emergence and mom's health issues had to leave my job and now since lockdown im totally jobless. The negative impact this time span left on my resume does not allow any employer to give me a job. Im planning to start teaching school students from class 1 to 10 but again the question arises how do i go about it as i had released a few broachures to make people aware of the same. But there was no response. Im totally blank as to how do i take a start in teaching career. If could you please advice me about how do i go about persuing my passion of teaching??

1. If you are interested in teaching in school or coaching institutes, find out the ones near your place and send resumes to all of them.

2. Find if any of your contacts are in this field and leverage them

4. Start making your study material

5. Nothing in too small. Start with whatever you can, and, if you continue with sincerity, it will definitely grow.

6. If your brochures didn't yield any response, consider revisiting your marketing strategy. You could try targeting specific neighborhoods, using online advertising, or collaborating with local newspapers or magazines to promote your teaching services.

7. Stay updated on teaching methodologies, educational technology, and the latest trends in education. This will help you adapt your teaching methods and stay relevant.

I am a 30 yr old female, fresher in teaching field. I am M.Sc bioinformatics. I have also done B.Ed in 2021. I want to be a science teacher but I lack confidence and due to gap after my B.Ed, it is getting very difficult to get hired. I have tried giving interviews and demos but somehow in my demos I lack confidence and communication skills. I have scored 69 percent in CTET level 1 and will be appearing for CTET level 2 in coming July-24. Kindly suggest me some crash course which can help me in building my teaching skill. I am ready to invest 2-3 months also. I live in New Delhi past 4-5 yes now.

If you are serious about your career which you should be, try doing following when you sit for studies:-
1. Switch off or put your phone on airplane mode & lock it in some place not close to you
2. Check phone only during your planned breaks
3. You can even look at doing something drastic, as blocking yourself from social media sites/deleting such apps till you clear exam milestones etc.
Above simple steps done religiously make a significant impact in getting concentration/focus.

Interview anxiety is not uncommon & most face that.
Do practice/mock interviews with professionals (there are lot of them nowadays).
The only way to gain confidence is to PRACTICE.
Also do bit of introspection in terms of what gets you anxiety - subject knowledge/communication skills/public speaking?
Once you identify, put focused effort to improve that particular area.

Hi, I am 33 and a new mom. I have been earning 1.9 lakhs in hand per month till now. But I have an extremely toxic manager and there has been a recession in the education sector. Can I take a break and look for some other field? Will my decision affect me severely? I am currently doing PMI and hopefully will sit for the exam by Jan end. Do I have any prospect? Should I continue working in the toxic culture?

Ans: Hello
You have mentioned 'extremely toxic' hence it becomes imperative for you to move out at the earliest.
Ideally it is good to have something in hand but if it is taking longer than taking a break for focused effort towards alternative options is not a bad idea.
But do that with proper planning in terms of direction you wish to take, finances etc. & you will for sure find something meaningful.
Continue to deal with real bad work environment is certainly not advisable.
