Hi I'm from Maharashtra board hsc and I'm an obc candidate so i clear my eligibility criteria for neet exam but i want to give improvement exam for board 2026 to improve my score but I'm not going college regularly so I can replace my original marksheet with improvement marksheet or not for neet exam to clear eligibility aiims criteria whether neet has different eligibility criteria I'm preparing from home not as a regular candidate for board

Ans: Yes, you can appear for the Maharashtra HSC improvement exam in 2026 as an external or private candidate, and once you pass, the new marksheet will legally replace your old one for eligibility purposes. For NEET and AIIMS admissions, the requirements are the same: you must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2 with the minimum required marks (for the OBC category. NEET does not differentiate between regular and improvement candidates, so your improved marksheet will be valid as long as it is issued by the Maharashtra State Board.

Good luck.
