नमस्कार सर, मैं एक वरिष्ठ नागरिक हूँ। वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए मेरी कुल कमाई (किराए, ब्याज और म्यूचुअल फंड से) 3 लाख से कम होगी। मेरा प्रश्न है कि इस वर्ष के लिए LTCG 1.25 लाख से अधिक होगा। कृपया मार्गदर्शन करें कि क्या मुझे 1.25 लाख रुपये की छूट सीमा के बाद कर का भुगतान करना होगा। साथ ही चालू वर्ष के लिए STCG 48000/- रुपये है, मुझे लगता है कि यह 20% की दर से कर योग्य होगा?? अग्रिम धन्यवाद।

Ans: नई कर व्यवस्था के तहत 3 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर कोई कर नहीं लगेगा।

सर मैं एक एसआर हूं. नागरिक हूं और मेरी पत्नी के साथ संयुक्त नाम पर एक प्लॉट है। जब हमने प्लॉट खरीदा था तो हमने विक्रेता को भुगतान समान रूप से दिया था। अब मैं प्लॉट बेच रहा हूं, मेरा सवाल यह है कि क्या हमें बिक्री की रकम अपने (मेरे और पत्नी के) खातों में समान रूप से ट्रांसफर करानी चाहिए। कर का निहितार्थ क्या होगा? क्या हम दोनों को अपने आईटी रिटर्न में बिक्री आय दिखानी चाहिए? मेरी पत्नी अब गृहिणी हैं लेकिन नियमित रूप से रिटर्न दाखिल करती हैं।

Ans: अगर संपत्ति संयुक्त नाम से रजिस्टर्ड है तो आप उसे दोनों खाते में बराबर-बराबर ले सकते हैं. हालाँकि, ध्यान रखें कि यदि निवेश के समय धन का स्रोत आपकी पत्नी की कमाई से नहीं था, तो यह आपके साथ आय को जोड़ने के प्रावधानों को ट्रिगर कर सकता है।
