My Son got 84.7 percentile and Got ECE in VIT Vellore. It ECE is correct choice

Ans: Neeraj Sir, Given VIT Vellore’s strong placement record, good infrastructure, and industry connections, pursuing ECE there is a sound choice. Your son’s percentile is suitable for ECE admission at VIT, and the program can provide good career opportunities if he is motivated and puts in consistent effort.

If your son is interested in ECE and comfortable with the campus environment and course rigor, VIT Vellore is a reputable institution that can help him achieve his academic and professional goals. All the best for your Son's admissions and a bright future!

Hello got ece in category 4 . Is there any chance in hbtu or IET Lucknow or Knit sultanpur ? One more point sir he is getting cse in jss university noida. Please suggest
Ans: JSS Noida offers CSE but with a lower ranking and moderate placements. Admission to CSE or ECE at government colleges like HBTU Kanpur, IET Lucknow, or KNIT Sultanpur is unlikely at this percentile, though other branches may be possible. If your son prefers CSE, JSS Noida is an option, but VIT’s ECE offers better overall prospects. Prioritize branch interest, college reputation, and placement opportunities when deciding.

Hello got ece in category 4 . Is there any chance in hbtu or IET Lucknow or Knit sultanpur ( Any branch) or Any possibility for GFTI or Lower NIIT we are from UP and General Category
Ans: If your JEE Main rank is above these cutoffs, VIT ECE (despite Category 4 fees) remains a solid option. If your rank is within the mentioned ranges, prioritize government colleges for better ROI and reputation, keeping VIT as a backup. Participate actively in counseling and stay flexible with branch preferences.

I have two options for my son. B.Tech ECE in Jaypee Noida and B.Tech ECE with Minor in Comp Sc. from VIT Vellore. Which should I prefer basis placement and academic quality?
Ans: Mukul Sir, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida offers B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a 98% placement rate for ECE over the past three years, branch-specific offers at 98% participation by core recruiters, and a median package of ?6.50 LPA from 184 offers to 188 eligible students in 2024, while holding a NIRF Engineering rank of 101–150. VIT Vellore’s B.Tech ECE with a minor in Computer Science enrolls 480 students, achieves overall 68%–72% placement rates in EEE (similar branch metrics), and contributes to the university’s 95% average placements across all engineering disciplines, supported by 867 recruiters and median packages near ?9.90 LPA, with NIRF Engineering rank #11. Jaypee Noida’s focused core-branch recruitment and higher branch-wise participation offer strong ECE outcomes, whereas VIT Vellore provides broader academic depth through a minor, superior institutional ranking, and consistent overall placement density. Recommendation: Opt for Jaypee Noida ECE if prioritizing branch-specific placement strength and core electronics opportunities; choose VIT Vellore ECE with CSE minor for higher institutional ranking, wider recruiter pool, and interdisciplinary skill development. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
