सर, मेरी बेटी ने 2024 में सीबीएसई 12वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा पास कर ली है और अब वीआईटी वेल्लोर में बीटेक ईसीएस ब्रांच में इलेक्ट्रिकल और कंप्यूटर साइंस इंजीनियरिंग प्रथम श्रेणी में है, और वीआईटीईईई में 2043वीं रैंक हासिल की है। उसने 9.5 सीजीपीए के साथ अपना पहला वर्ष पूरा कर लिया है। वह अपनी ब्रांच में अच्छी रुचि ले रही है। चूँकि यह एक नई ब्रांच है, इसलिए मुझे इस क्षेत्र में संभावनाओं और भविष्य के बारे में, और प्लेसमेंट के बारे में भी कोई जानकारी नहीं है। कृपया मार्गदर्शन करें।

Ans: बीआईटी पटना इंजीनियरिंग के लिए एक अच्छा विकल्प है, लेकिन ईईई प्लेसमेंट मुख्य क्षेत्र पर केंद्रित होते हैं और सीएसई की तुलना में इनकी संख्या कम होती है। अगर आप मुख्य नौकरियों या पीएसयू परीक्षाओं में शामिल होना चाहते हैं, तो पश्चिम बंगाल के सरकारी इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बेहतर आरओआई दे सकते हैं।

महोदय, मेरे बेटे का चयन आईआईटी खड़गपुर में मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग के लिए हुआ है या उसका चयन थापर इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज के सीएसई कॉलेज में भी हुआ है? इनमें से कौन सा बेहतर है?

Ans: यदि संभव हो, तो जब तक वह सीएसई में रुचि न रखने लगे, तब तक आईआईटी खड़गपुर में मैकेनिका शाखा को प्राथमिकता दें। थापर की तुलना में आईआईटी एक बड़ा नाम है। या आप आईआईटी में कम तकनीकी शाखाओं के लिए प्रतीक्षा कर सकते हैं (आपने जेईई एडवांस्ड के स्कोर का उल्लेख नहीं किया है)।

Ans: Preference order may be: IT @ IIIT Allahabad > CSE @ MNNIT Allahabad > EEE @ NIT Trichy > ECE @ Rourkela

Ans: Yes, Mechanical/Aerospace is still a good choice if he genuinely likes core engineering. He has a good chance with some NITs and IIITs.

सर, मुझे VIT AP के CSBS में श्रेणी 1 में सीट मिल गई है और मेरी AAEE रैंक 14,000 है तथा इंटरमीडिएट में 979 अंक हैं। क्या मैं SASTRA CSE के लिए आवेदन कर सकता हूँ? इससे भविष्य में प्लेसमेंट के लिए क्या अच्छा रहेगा? क्या आपको लगता है कि मुझे VIT AP से CSBS करना चाहिए?

Ans: VIT AP की तुलना में Sastra में CSE को प्राथमिकता दें। VIT-AP CSBS में तभी दाखिला लें जब बेहतर CSE विकल्प उपलब्ध न हों।

महोदय, मेरी बेटी अनुसूचित जाति श्रेणी से है। जेईई मेन में उसकी सीआरएल रैंक 245740 और एससी रैंक 14001 है, तथा टीएस ईएएमसीईटी में 31202 रैंक है। उसे 12वीं सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षा में 74.8 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त हुए हैं। वह इंजीनियरिंग में सीएसई या मैकेनिकल शाखा चुनना चाहती है। उसके लिए क्या विकल्प उपयुक्त होंगे?

Ans: उन्हें जादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय में सीएसई/मैकेनिकल (निचली शाखाएँ संभव), गवर्नमेंट कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड सेरामिक टेक्नोलॉजी, इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड मैनेजमेंट, सीएसएबी के अंतर्गत आने वाले नए एनआईटी और तेलंगाना के मध्यम स्तर के कॉलेजों में टीएस ईएएमसीईटी काउंसलिंग के माध्यम से प्रवेश की उम्मीद है।

My son got comedk in 111 marks gujrat Hsc overall 91.40% pr. HSC science 86.32 % GUJCET 84.44% Jee mains CRL rank 102855 EWS Catagory rank 15516. Home state gujrat. Nirma aur PDEU Ke Admission me apply Kiya hai. Ab final kya choose karna sahi rahega. Please advise me.

Ans: Prefer Nirma if CSE/IT is available. For CSE/ICT, prefer PDEU. COMEDK (111) also gives good Bangalore college backup options. (Ramaih, Dayananad, Bangalore Institute of Technology, RNS, etc.)

I got 93.04%ile in jee mains 2026. I belongs to gen category but I have applied for ews category which possibly will be ready before June. Please suggest me for any good options in josaa and csab for IIITs or NITs. My home state is West Bengal.

Ans: You can hope for lower branches at Durgapur NIT, IIITs like Kalyani, and ECE/IT/CSE specialisations in CSAB rounds; newer NITs/IIITs also look achievable.

Ans: अगर संभव हो तो, वेल्लोर में स्थित VIT में इंटीग्रेटेड CSE को प्राथमिकता दें, अन्यथा SRM में CSE AIML चुनें।

am having flat in hyderabad which was registered as gift deed in 2009 and if i want to sell the flat on today date the valve may be 75 Lakhs what can be capital gain. Actual cost was 2.2 lakhs in 1986 . As my age is 65 years and i dont want to use for contruction or investment in new flat. How can i save capital gain. Your advise

Ans: Whatever LTCG (Long Term Capital Gain) is there, you may purchase Capital Gain Bonds (maximum limit is Rs.50.00 (L) to save your tax. Since you don't want to invest in a new Flat or House, this may be a good option. Please remember the time limit of purchasing the Bonds is within 6 months, from the date of sale of Asset/Flat.
