Dear Sir, You must hv taken lots of interviews. Some of the questions are commonly asked in interviews. All question are ok to me. But there is one question which is generally asked in interviews and i really dont know its appropriate reply. Q. What are your salary expectations ? May I know what should be the appropriate answers to it ? And what are the things that an employee should take care of so that his/her boss doesn't get annoyed.

Ans: When you go there, you are aware of what the job might get you. You also know your worth as well as you know what your last drawn salary was. Based on all this, the best way to answer would be...' Sir, I was working as....till now and earning..... I have applied here to get more than that amount for sure. Considering the job content and my skills and the value addition that I can bring to the work output, I feel that I am worth ...... Maybe you could also give out how much you are willing to give for the job that you are considering giving me, I could negotiate with the HR once you confirm the same. As of now, besides the pay packet, I am also looking at the exciting prospects of the new job on offer!'
Something like that won't harm anyone.
As far as doing things that are annoying, I suggest do not do anything that will annoy you and do not speak anything extra, other than the answer to the question asked. All the best!
